My girlfriend and I were hosted by Antonella and Fabio from the 1st to the 21st of August. What can I say? Awesome. The location, the big patio, the rooms. Big applause for the owners who made us feel even better than at home. Thank you. If I have to say what's the best thing I enjoyed the most, it's the position of the house which allows us to go anywhere very quickly. Another thing is the fresh air of the countryside... we did not feel that sticky and humid air at all. I will certainly come back again very soon. Ciao e grazie!

We stayed at the Balice Antica Dimora during a period of high heat and tourist traffic. We particularly appreciated this pleasant location, very quiet and the freshness of its recently renovated pool. The property is very well maintained, decorated with taste and attention to the smallest details. There is everything you need in the kitchen. The recently restored building keeps the inside cool, we did not need to use the air conditioning. The owners, Antonella and Fabio, are very attentive and caring, they gave us good recommendations. We have been to Balice for the second time this year. It is always a pleasure to meet the super nice hosts Antonella and Fabio. Just the two of them are worth the trip. Very friendly and attentive owners. They provide tips for excursions, restaurants, swimming opportunities, and much more! Reserving a table in the great restaurants is not a problem. They take care of their guests throughout the entire stay. Upon arrival, the fridge was filled with delicious things (grapes, drinks, sweets, pastries, etc.). We had the 4-room apartment, which is very modernly furnished, but still retains the typical Apulian country style. You feel very comfortable and it is equipped with everything you need in a self-catering holiday home. The quiet location adds to the relaxation. However, since Balice is about 10 minutes away from the sea and the city of Monopoli, it is advisable to arrive by car. From Regensburg (Germany), it is about 1450 km to drive. We always travel with 1 or 2 stops to Apulia. Some of our friends flew to Bari (about 40 km from Monopoli) and rented a car. Here everyone can follow their wishes. In Balice, every wish will be fulfilled. The swimming pool is absolutely great and is cleaned daily.

This accommodation and these fantastic and friendly hosts were the best thing that could happen to us! Very uncomplicated reservation process. We stayed in the larger lower apartment 'Ulivo'. Very warm welcome, the hosts even came to pick us up by car because we got lost on arrival. The fridge was filled with food, and other delicious treats were provided. The apartment was very clean, spacious, with everything you need. The garden and the pool are a dream! Peace, nature, everything perfect! Being located outside the village, a vehicle is absolutely necessary. Small supermarket and a good trattoria are a short distance away. We were provided with great excursion tips every day, it was truly a perfect, friendly, almost friendly care! Many thanks! Great place to take trips in the surroundings. All in all, PERFECT! and EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAY!

Beautiful almost castle-like country house just outside Monopoli. Ideal also for a family holiday. Comfortably furnished and, according to the very kind and helpful hosts, soon also with a pool. Dream farm, everything delightfully perfect. The apartment is a gem, carefully detailed and with everything you need. Cozy outdoor space, well-kept lawn, beautiful plants and flowers. Unfortunately, we did not take advantage of the beautiful pool as the weather was not great those days, but the countryside was beautiful, peace for the mind and joy for the eyes. The hosts in all this "spectacle" could only be wonderful! Fabio and Antonella are top! Welcoming, empathetic, funny, we spent an evening together at the Sagra dell'impanata! Not staying at Balice Antica Dimora would be a mistake! Highly recommended.

Arriving in Puglia and staying in a Masseria may seem obvious but staying at Balice Antica Dimora makes you feel part of the Apulian countryside among olive trees, almond trees, tranquility and peace. A perfectly renovated Masseria and two owners with unparalleled grace and hospitality. Outdoor spaces with sofas, rocking chair, shower, little church with its lights and the pool then, surrounded by its beautifully manicured English lawn that gently lights up in the evening, and if you don't want to be in the pool, you can reach the sea in 10 minutes. Would I recommend this fantastic place? Definitely 100%.

After the first wonderful experience in this establishment last year, we returned and found the same unchanged wonderful atmosphere. Strategic location to reach beaches and for visits to nearby inland locations, impeccable cleanliness both inside and outside the entire area. Fabio and Antonella are extremely attentive to the order of their wonderful structure, as much as they are in welcoming, cordiality, and availability they reserve for their guests. Unfortunately, due to serious family problems, we had to end our stay early. Even in this need of ours, the owners have proven to be as we have known them, extraordinarily understanding and helpful. Charming structure, located in a context that offers total relaxation with a huge outdoor space where we could enjoy the swing in the cool evening, the children playing in the lawn, just a pity for not being able to use the barbecue in time. Beautiful property, welcoming and clean. Perfect location to visit beautiful places like Polignano a Mare, Ostuni, Alberobello and many others, all just a few kilometers from the property. Only fantastic adjectives can be wasted on this place. The structure is nothing short of wonderful, an ancient dwelling completely renovated. We stayed in the six-person apartment, all furnished down to the smallest details, impeccable cleanliness, in short a real gem. Suitable for both families and couples, immersed in the wonderful colors of the Monopoli countryside, we also witnessed fantastic sunsets. In short, I highly recommend it.

We stayed for 1 week at Balice Antica Dimora, in Monopoli, Contrada Balice. Balice is about a 15-minute drive from the center of Monopoli. It is located in the countryside but a few minutes by car there is a bar and a minimarket/delicatessen/bar (Il Boss) where you can find everything you need. From here, there are many places that can be easily visited (from 15 minutes to 1 and a half hours away): Castellana Grotte, Polignano a Mare, Matera, Alberobello and surroundings, Castel del Monte, etc., just to name a few. The sea is about a 15-20 minute drive away (the coves of Monopoli city and the Capitolo area). The ancient Dimora consists of 3 structures with independent entrances, one for 6 people, one for 4 and one for 2 people (Il Mandorlo), ours. Il Mandorlo consists of a living area with kitchen, a small walk-in closet, bathroom with shower, and bedroom. In Il Mandorlo there is everything you need in terms of dishes. We found the fridge upon our arrival with water, milk, beer, juice, and in the house there was oil, sugar, salt, rusks, and cookies. It's nice to find all this so you don't have to rush to the store as soon as you arrive. Bed linen and towels are provided (the shower towels, unlike many other places, were really huge). There is a drying rack to hang out swimsuits, etc. In front of the entrance, there is a large umbrella, table, chairs, and deck chairs to eat and relax outside. The common outdoor area has a swing, where I appreciated being able to spend several evenings in the silence and coolness of the countryside, hot outdoor showers, a local oven, where you can cook, grill, fry. All around olive trees, almond trees, the vegetable garden, with the possibility of tasting delicious fresh tomatoes and almonds. There is an internal parking. The place is truly enchanting and well taken care of in detail, both aesthetically and practically. We also had the opportunity to see the residence for 6 people, splendid. The managers are very kind, always available but not intrusive. They gave us advice to visit the surroundings, for restaurants and the possibility of a private parking directly overlooking the sea with direct access to a cove in Porto Marzano, with crystal clear water, rocks, and a small sandy beach not too crowded. It was a truly enjoyable week and I can only recommend Balice Antica Dimora to everyone! We would gladly return!

We had a really great time. Upon arrival after 11 hours of travel, we found the house sweetly welcoming where nothing was missing. The place is quiet, beautiful, and relaxing. We will definitely come back.

Great for those who want to spend a relaxing holiday. The structure is located in the greenery and away from the city chaos, while at the same time the location allows you to reach all the points of interest in the area. Comfortable room and friendly and helpful managers. Upon our arrival, they filled the fridge with drinks, which was appreciated after 8 hours of travel.
