Il Giardino degli Ulivi is the best place to stay in Italy on the coast.

The view is absolutely stunning! This B&B is at the very top of a hill, so you'll have a great view over Savona and the Mediterranean sea. This means that getting there by foot is quite a long way up, and it's about a 45 minute walk from the city centre, but I think it's worth it. The hills next to the B&B are amazing for hiking. Because the host was away during my stay, I was hosted by her parents. They didn't speak much English, but that wasn't a problem. They did everything they could to make my stay comfortable, and were amazingly welcoming and hospitable. I originally planned to stay for just two nights, but I extended my stay by one night because I liked Savona and the B&B so much.

An exceptional place! You can't dream of a better bed and breakfast than Il Giardino degli Ulivi for a moment of serenity. The setting is beautiful, the welcome warm, and the services of quality. I appreciated the flexibility for check-in; after traveling, it was wonderful to rest in a lovely quiet room, enjoy the outdoor terrace and the breathtaking view of the sea. I loved the generous breakfast, homemade pastries, and local products. The rooms are decorated with care and delicacy, the bathrooms perfectly modern in a charming building. I will come back and recommend this incredible site.

Very friendly. Difficult to find but wonderful location. Almost too beautiful to spend just one night and take the ferry to Sardinia at 10.00.

Gute Kommunikation mit den Besitzern, da späte Anreise. Herrliche, ruhige Lage aber enge Zufahrtstrasse, mit grossem Auto nicht so zu empfehlen. Wir brauchten ein Dreibettzimmer was es dort auch gab. Sehr sauber. Da wir früh die Fähre nach Korsika nehmen mussten, konnten wir leider kein Frühstück einnehmen, ich könnte es mir aber mit dem tollen Blick aufs Meer sehr schön vorstellen. Alles in allem eine positive Erfahrung.

Beautiful stay in a lovely place with a breathtaking view. Lucia provided us with detailed information in advance to reach the B&B and once we arrived, she warmly welcomed us, made us feel at home. Her friendliness, kindness, and great availability make the B&B even more welcoming. The room is very spacious and equipped with every comfort. Everything is furnished and chosen with care. The place is stunning with a breathtaking view. We were welcomed by the owner with exquisite kindness and extreme availability. The rooms were very spacious, as were the services, and equipped with every comfort. The road to reach Il Giardino degli Ulivi is not very easy, but the enchanting panorama and the abundant and varied breakfast outdoors overlooking the Ligurian Gulf more than make up for it. Highly recommended.

It was an excellent stay. Ms. Lucia was very kind, indicating in advance how to get to the location. The hospitality, breakfast, and spacious Blue room were all excellent. The price was reasonable, and the location was only 10/15 minutes from Savona and Albissola. I found a B&B as a reference point for when I return. Thank you for the hospitality.

The structure is located in an elevated position compared to Savona, far enough to rest in tranquility and in 10 minutes be in the center. Spacious Blue Room with a beautiful view, breakfast is buffet style, rich and tasty! Lucia is helpful and kind, my partner and I were on a motorbike and she let me park under the veranda. If I return near Savona, I will try to stay here again.

We were guests on the night of our wedding: we were welcomed with the room decorated with balloons and petals (beautiful surprise), despite the late arrival time. Also in the morning, we were able to check out without rush and recover from the tiredness of the day before. Breakfast outdoors with a beautiful view, very kind owners; a romantic location in nature perfect for the occasion (and also easy to reach).

I stayed with my girlfriend at this B&B and we will certainly return. The owners, a very nice and courteous family, are all very helpful: in fact, Lucia welcomed us first, showing us the structure and introducing us to her parents. Together they recommended us both excellent restaurants nearby and the most beautiful beaches to visit. The room and bathroom were very clean and tidy, equipped with all comforts (for example, the hairdryer). The structure enjoys an exceptional panorama, surrounded by greenery with a splendid view of the sea. In the evening you can also admire the stars. It is located in the hills, the road is a bit difficult but Lucia provides all the information in advance to reach the B&B. The breakfast is abundant and good, special mention to Mr. Davide who brings fresh focaccia for the guests in the morning. Overall, fully satisfied.

Lucia and her mother are two super hosts and make you feel at home. Their property is in a fantastic location with a breathtaking view over the entire city and the Ligurian Sea. The slight difficulty in reaching the place (but Lucia will give you all the necessary directions) is greatly rewarded by the panorama you will enjoy, immersed in the silence of the Savona hills. I recommend it without reservation to anyone looking for a quiet place to relax.

Bellissima location in posizione dominante con vista spettacolare di Savona. Ambienti curati e pulitissimi, la famiglia che gestisce questo B&B molto cordiale ed estremamente disponibile. Camera confortevole e bagno bellissimo e ampio. Parcheggio auto perfetto. Siamo stati benissimo, da consigliare e se siete in zona assolutamente da provare.

La posizione ottimale in collina con vista mare, il silenzio, gli ampi spazi verdi a terrazze ombreggiate da ulivi alternati ad alberi da frutta, la squisita cordialità e disponibilità della signora Laura, Lucia e Davide, ne fanno un luogo ideale per dimenticarsi del frastuono cittadino e farsi coccolare, almeno per un po'. Questo luogo è frutto dell'amore dei gestori che dedicano con assiduità tutto loro stessi alla cura dell'intera struttura. Ci tornerò sicuramente. Così come me, anche la mia gattina è stata accolta benissimo. Anche Sissi ringrazia per i croccantini e le ciotoline.

Siamo stati ospiti nel weekend del 21/22 aprile. Posto bellissimo, caratteristico e particolare, con la vista sul mare e a due passi da Savona. Siamo stati il week di pasqua e pasquetta e che dire? Tutto bellissimo! I proprietari sono carinissimi. La location è molto caratteristica, con una vista sul mare e sulla città veramente niente male! Stanze pulite ed in ordine, così come i locali comuni. E poi, volete mettere la sensazione di svegliarvi al mattino, scendere le scale, entrare in cucina per la colazione e trovare una tavola imbandita piena di qualsiasi cosa? I proprietari sono stati davvero molto gentili. Ritorneremo di sicuro all'Ulivo sul Mare.
