Hey, I'm Antonietta Gabriella

Our residence dates back to the early 20th century, a time when our grandparents lived in a rural environment that now feels like it belongs to a different era, remembered only through their stories or literary works like Silone's "Fontamara." In the past, this place was a farmhouse that housed two large families, who lived together in perfect harmony to tackle the numerous challenges of a war-torn agricultural Italy. With the economic boom, this area transformed into a fertile land for cultivation, becoming a vital export hub for our fine tomatoes throughout Europe. Over the last two decades, agricultural traditions have begun to decline, but today we are witnessing a new renaissance. The landscape is enchanting and is perfectly suited for the new opportunities that our generation is striving to develop, particularly in the field of tourism hospitality.

Area Mare

The bed and breakfast overlooks one of the most picturesque stretches of the Abruzzo coastline, where the sea meets a long expanse of golden sand and an ancient, protected pine forest. This area offers unspoiled landscapes, perfect for those who wish to immerse themselves in nature while still being close to major urban centers. The public beach, which stretches for over four kilometers right in front of the property, provides ample space and a relaxed atmosphere, ideal for long walks, sunbathing, and days spent enjoying the sea and tranquility, accompanied only by the sound of the waves and the scent of the maritime pines.

The location allows for easy movement between the sea, hills, and mountains, enabling quick exploration of the diverse facets of Abruzzo. Nature and hiking enthusiasts can access the trails of the Abruzzo National Park, dive into its forests, and admire the local wildlife. Those who prefer culture and history can discover the medieval villages in the area, which are rich in ancient traditions and charming views.

Being close to the Costa dei Trabocchi provides the chance to visit this unique stretch of coastline, dotted with ancient fishing machines suspended over the sea, many of which have been transformed into restaurants serving local cuisine. Food and wine lovers will find countless routes through wineries, olive oil mills, and agritourisms to savor the wines and dishes of Abruzzo's culinary tradition. Additionally, the city of Pescara is just a few kilometers away, making it an ideal place for those seeking nightlife, events, and entertainment, all while enjoying views of the sea.
