Nestled amidst a landscape of olive trees, fruit trees, vines, and exotic vegetation, this enchanting farmhouse seamlessly blends the charm of the old with modern comfort. Fully renovated in 2006, it retains its original materials, such as wooden beams, white stone steps, fireplaces, and antique furniture. The view of the majestic Majella mountains creates a unique atmosphere, while the town of Orsogna is just a two-minute drive away. The historic cities of Lanciano and Chieti are a bit further, and the Adriatic Sea, with its beautiful beaches, can be reached in about 20 minutes.

Hospitality is offered in three spacious rooms, each with its own private bathroom. The largest room, perfect for two or three guests, features a terrace with a lovely view of the Majella. The double room, equipped with a sofa bed, provides a romantic little balcony overlooking the countryside, while the third double room boasts a charming Roman-style balcony with views of the gardens. Outside, relaxation areas allow guests to lounge in the shade of the olive trees or on comfortable hammocks, while children can enjoy the play areas. The garden offers seasonal fruit within reach: figs, pears, and plums can be picked directly from the trees, along with aromatic herbs found along the paths.

The stay is enhanced by breakfast, a special moment that includes local organic fruit, typical ham and cheeses, homemade pastries, and fresh bread, all accompanied by coffee and natural juices. Guests also have access to a wood-fired oven and a barbecue for self-catering. Inside, a library area with a film collection and an information corner about Abruzzo provide ideas for exploring the region. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and small pets are welcome, with options to stay in the guest room or in a dedicated pet house.

The tables are set with great care, using fine English china from the early 20th century, silver cutlery, and crystal glasses.

Our menu features a selection of delights, including freshly baked brioche, seasonal fruit salad picked directly from the orchard, and for those who wish, homemade desserts prepared by Zasa, accompanied by savory pastries made with extra virgin olive oil from our estate.

Hey, I'm Assunta

Zasa is the name of the owner of the b&b; she is a science teacher, biologist and she loves the green countryside and belives that the contact with nature is an effective curative to find serenity and harmony. Her housband, Pino, is a chemical engineer with woodwork hobby; most of the objects of the house were built by Pino. The spirit with they modernised the house in 2006, was to keep most of the original structures, trying to give back the ancient glory of the house.

Our B&B is nestled in the beautiful countryside of Abruzzo, just 20 minutes from the sea and 15 minutes from the mountains, close to the Majella National Park, which can be seen from the windows of our cozy rooms. You will have the chance to explore charming historic towns such as Guardiagrele, Lanciano, and Chieti, as well as Ortona and the stunning Trabocchi coast, all within a short drive. The most convenient way to reach us is by car. If you're coming from Rome, take the A24-A25, exit at Chieti, and follow the signs for Guardiagrele, then for Orsogna. If you're coming from the north, take the A14 and exit at Pescara Ovest, continuing towards Guardiagrele as indicated. Lastly, if you're traveling from the south, use the A14, exit at Ortona, and follow the directions for Ortona-Guardiagrele, and then Guardiagrele-Orsogna.
