Chalet di Ocre is situated at an elevation of 800 meters, surrounded by nature at the foothills of Monte Ocre, and just 10 km from the city of L'Aquila. Its strategic location allows quick access to the ski facilities of the Rocche plateau, located 18 km away, and the Gran Sasso d’Italia cable car, approximately 20 km from the chalet.

Constructed entirely of wood, it provides guests with an immediate sense of wellness and harmony with the surrounding environment. The warm atmosphere of the building blends perfectly with the mountainous landscape, offering a rejuvenating stay in close contact with nature.

This area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with numerous trails available for exploration on foot or by mountain bike. Upon request, guests can join guided excursions of varying levels, from easy walks to more challenging paths, available in both summer and winter seasons.

A few minutes from the L'Aquila, in Rocca di Mezzo direction, on the green and quiet of the town of Ocre (Sirente Velino Natural Park) at 800m above sea level.

The Ocre's Chalet, entirely of wood, is very close to the ski lifts of Campo Felice, Ovindoli and Campo Imperatore.

The Ocre Area is rich in history. In medieval times our population have contributed to the founding of L'Aquila. The Ocre Castle and the religious settlements of the Ocre Saint Angelo Convent and the Monastery of Santo Spirito d'Ocre are direct testimony of a place that has been the focus of the story.
