B&B Tsantamerla is situated in La Salle, right in the heart of Valdigne, within a peaceful and scenic mountain area surrounded by meadows and vineyards. Its location offers a stay away from the valley floor traffic, immersed in nature and tranquility, while still providing easy access to the towns and main attractions of the upper Aosta Valley.
Just behind the accommodation runs the panoramic Tsantamerla walkway, a pleasant route connecting La Salle to Morgex, allowing visitors to explore the surrounding landscape with a relaxing stroll. The area features numerous trails suitable for both casual walkers and experienced hikers, leading to alpine refuges and high mountain environments, extending all the way to the foothills of the Mont Blanc massif.
This location is also especially convenient for winter sports enthusiasts. Courmayeur and its ski area are reachable in about a 15-minute drive, while La Thuile is approximately 20 minutes away. The Pré-Saint-Didier Thermal Baths, known for their thermal pools and mountain views, are just around 10 minutes from the property.
For cycling fans, La Salle serves as an excellent starting point to tackle some of the most picturesque routes in the Aosta Valley. Near the B&B begins the climb to Colle San Carlo, a particularly challenging 10.5 km route with an average gradient of 10% and over 1,000 meters of elevation gain. From the area, it's also possible to reach itineraries heading towards the Little St. Bernard Pass, Val Veny, and Val Ferret, alternating demanding climbs, alpine scenery, and roads surrounded by nature.
Its proximity to Courmayeur also allows exploration of one of the most captivating areas of the Alpine arc, offering numerous opportunities for hiking, climbing, and outdoor activities. Val Veny and Val Ferret present landscapes dominated by the Mont Blanc massif and are highly popular destinations during the summer season.
However, the countryside around La Salle maintains a more intimate and relaxed atmosphere compared to the busier tourist spots. After a day spent skiing, hiking, or cycling, guests can return to a calm environment surrounded by greenery and the scenery of Valdigne, making B&B Tsantamerla an ideal base for experiencing the mountains throughout the year.
