The B&B Casina Montana is the perfect place to explore all of Salento, as it is located just 2 km from Maglie, an important commercial town, and 20 km from nearly all the major tourist destinations: Gallipoli, Lecce, Otranto, Castro, and S. Cesarea Terme.

The original dry stone rooms from the early 1900s come equipped with all modern comforts, including independent air conditioning and heating, an en-suite bathroom with a glass shower and hairdryer, a mini-fridge, a 22-inch LCD TV, and a private entrance.

The surrounding countryside offers a serene atmosphere, broken only by the singing of birds and the sounds of farming activities.

The four rooms/bilocales are situated within a 20,000 m² garden, surrounded by fruit trees and olive trees, allowing guests to enjoy the scents and colors of nature. Meanwhile, the solarium provides a peaceful space to read or take a nap on warm summer days.

Rooms and Rates

Every morning, breakfast turns into a genuine journey through the authentic flavors of the region. Homemade pastries and cookies are paired with artisanal jams made from fruit picked straight from our garden. The freshness of ricotta and natural yogurt complements the deliciousness of freshly baked bread, local puccette, focaccia, and friselle, all perfect for enjoying with locally sourced honey or our own dried figs.

For those who appreciate savory flavors, there are plenty of tomatoes, grilled vegetables from the garden, and tasty omelets, all enhanced by fresh orange juice to kickstart the day with energy.

On lovely days, breakfast is served under the porch of the main house, surrounded by the tranquility of nature. In the cooler months, however, the family living room becomes the cozy heart of this occasion, radiating a warm and intimate atmosphere.

With a reservation, guests can enjoy dinner at the Masseria. The menu features traditional dishes made with local ingredients, tailored to suit every taste.

Lina, in particular, is always available to welcome you and make you feel at home; she serves breakfast, which is expertly prepared by her husband, the chef, tidies up the rooms, and provides directions and recommendations for the most interesting places to visit. She loves reading, has a passion for animals, and takes great care of the flowers in her garden. Additionally, she is available 24/7 for any requests you may have.
