Area Campagna

The Agriturismo Il Piccolo Lago is located in one of the most enchanting areas of Salento, nestled between Otranto and the Alimini Lakes. This region is where crystalline seas meet pine forests, centuries-old olive groves, and stunning natural landscapes. Its location allows guests to enjoy a peaceful holiday while remaining just minutes away from the main attractions along the Adriatic coast.

Otranto, Italy's easternmost city, boasts a rich historical and artistic heritage. Strolling through its ancient walls, visitors encounter cobblestone alleys, lively squares, artisan shops, and panoramic views of the harbor. Notable sites include the grand Cathedral of Santa Maria Annunziata, famous for its remarkable medieval mosaic, the Aragonese Castle, and the seafront promenade—a perfect spot for a sunset walk among bars, restaurants, and cafes.

Just a few kilometers away lies the protected area of the Alimini Lakes, one of Puglia’s most distinctive ecosystems. Here, nature presents a sequence of lakes, pine groves, dunes, and trails immersed in Mediterranean scrubland, ideal for walking, biking, or relaxing away from crowded tourist spots.
