The Boutique Bed & Breakfast Masseria Serralta is situated on one of the highest peaks of the Murgia plateau, where an ancient rural settlement of trulli, dating back to the late 1600s, welcomes guests in a charming and relaxing atmosphere. The spacious suites, surrounded by the beautiful countryside, are decorated with a perfect blend of tradition and contemporary culture, providing a personalized stay to meet every need. Each room is equipped with a refrigerator, and some also feature a kitchenette, ensuring maximum comfort and independence.

Every day, the B&B strives to make the stay of its guests unique and enjoyable. The abundant breakfast, served with local specialties, is just the beginning of a series of delightful experiences: a panoramic pool for relaxation, aperitifs under the gazebo, and tasting dinners to savor the local products. Guests can also indulge in massages or participate in a tasting tour at local wineries, some of the most highly regarded in the area.

The property is located in an untouched natural setting, with dry stone walls that define the surrounding landscape, facing the picturesque village of Locorotondo. It is perfectly positioned between the baroque town of Martina Franca and the "trulli coast" along the Adriatic Sea, an area rich in internationally significant cultural events that take place throughout the year. Additionally, the B&B offers bicycle excursions on the Murgia plateau and sea trips aboard a family-owned vintage boat.

To explore the area freely, the B&B is easily accessible from two international airports: Bari (80 km) and Brindisi (70 km). It is recommended to rent a car to visit the nearby towns and discover some of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, all within a short distance from the Masseria.

Every morning, in the ancient lamia, a generous breakfast is served, made with fresh, local products, including seasonal fruits. The table service is personalized, with selections made the evening before, in accordance with Covid prevention measures.

The sweet breakfast always features a homemade dessert, jams made from our own fruit, a variety of cookies, homemade plain yogurt, cereals, toastable bread, and fruit juices.

For the savory breakfast, you will find local cured meats, including capocollo from Martina Franca, a daily selection of fresh cheeses, eggs, friselle with tomatoes, and fresh vegetables.

Classic hot beverages are also available, prepared and served on the spot. Upon request, we offer options for those with food intolerances, such as gluten-free or lactose-free products, always ensuring the authenticity and freshness of the ingredients.

From late May to mid-September, every Tuesday and Friday evening, guests have the opportunity, subject to availability and prior reservation, to enjoy an exclusive dinner prepared by our resident chef, Mama Marina. The menu, consisting of four courses, is entirely made with local products and specially designed for you.

Please note that there is no restaurant on site and the menu is not à la carte.

My name is Marta, and I have the pleasure of managing Masseria Serralta Boutique Bed & Breakfast as its owner. This charming establishment, dating back to the late 1600s, was acquired by my family, who devoted time and effort to its renovation, restoring it to its former glory and reopening it in the summer of 2011. We run a family-operated business, characterized by particular attention and meticulous care, just as we did during the restoration of the Masseria, always keeping a close eye on the details and preserving its authentic rural character. We aimed to retain the rustic charm and simplicity of bygone days while incorporating modern comforts, so our guests can feel at home while exploring this land rich in traditions. I am passionate about sharing my local knowledge, always with discretion and respect. My goal is to provide my guests with an unforgettable experience during their stay, which is why I make it a priority each year to enhance various aspects of the Masseria and invest in the professionalism of our service.
