In one of the most enchanting areas of Salento, just a three-minute drive from the crystal-clear waters of Marina di Pescoluse, the Residence degli Ulivi welcomes guests in a serene and scenic setting, nestled within a private olive grove spanning eight thousand square meters. The establishment is situated on a hill in the Scucchi locality of Salve, offering views of the typical landscape of southern Puglia, characterized by ancient trees and the deep blue of the Ionian Sea.

The complex consists of six independent residences, either newly built or carefully restored, available year-round. Guests can choose from an Apartment, a Studio, a Large Trullo, a Small Trullo, a Large Liama, and a Small Liama, each with unique features, spacious outdoor areas, stone barbecue facilities, and private parking. The accommodations are particularly suited for families with children due to the tranquility of the environment and the freedom provided by the space, but couples and groups of friends will also find an ideal retreat here to enjoy evenings under the Salento sky.

The mild climate makes for a pleasant stay even during winter months. The location, just 800 meters from the famous “Maldive del Salento” and ten kilometers from Santa Maria di Leuca, allows for easy exploration of the entire peninsula, with both free beaches and nature trails perfect for walking or cycling.

The residences are delivered clean, equipped with bed and bath linens, and include a weekly linen change. The facilities comply with safety regulations, and while the cistern water is potable, it is recommended to boil it for culinary use. Pets are welcome, provided they respect the peace of the property.

The residence is managed by Renate, originally from Bolzano, a retired teacher who has turned her passion for hospitality into a small realized dream. Her desire is to provide an authentic welcome in a place where time moves slowly and nature becomes a quiet companion in everyday life.

After teaching for many years at a Hospitality Institute by Lake Garda, she decided to pursue a long-held dream: to open her own accommodation establishment. The area where the Residence degli Ulivi is located is one of the most enchanting and pristine in Salento, nestled in the heart of the countryside of Marina di Pescoluse, specifically in Scucchi, just a few kilometers from Santa Maria di Leuca. We are in the far south of Puglia, where gentle, lush hills meet the Ionian Sea, creating a diverse and vibrant landscape filled with Mediterranean colors and scents.

Less than a kilometer away are the famous “Maldives of Salento,” a coastal stretch renowned for its fine, powdery sand and turquoise waters that evoke tropical scenes. The coastline features both well-equipped beach clubs and long stretches of wild, free beaches immersed in nature, easily accessible by car or even on foot for those who enjoy walking.

The elevated position of the property ensures not only tranquility and privacy but also natural ventilation that makes the stay enjoyable even during the hottest months. Here, you won’t hear the noise of traffic or summer nightlife, but only the songs of cicadas, the rustling of olive trees, and the sight of the sea on the horizon, with spectacular sunsets painting the sky in shades of pink and orange.

The setting is residential and secluded, away from mass tourism yet strategically located for exploring the entire Salento peninsula. In just a few minutes, you can reach historic towns like Salve, Presicce, and Specchia, as well as Santa Maria di Leuca, where two seas meet and you can visit caves, lighthouses, and sanctuaries perched on the cliffs. Nature lovers can stroll along rural paths winding through dry stone walls, fig fields, and almond trees, offering authentic and peaceful glimpses of the landscape.

This area is perfect in every season: mild in winter, sunny and breezy in summer, providing a travel experience characterized by simplicity, connection with nature, and essential beauty.
