In the heart of the UNESCO-listed Cilento National Park, Agriturismo San Giorgio welcomes guests in a beautifully restored ancient rural village. The main villa, originally a historic olive mill, is surrounded by agricultural buildings converted into comfortable accommodation spaces. With a scenic location just minutes from the sea and close to significant sites such as Velia, Paestum, and Capo Palinuro, it provides a perfect balance between relaxation and exploration.

The accommodations feature double, triple, and quadruple rooms, as well as family options, all equipped with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and either a terrace or garden. There are also independent annexes with kitchens and multiple bedrooms, ideal for families or groups, as well as a barrier-free apartment with spacious, modern amenities. The infinity pool, set in a private park filled with ancient olive trees, figs, and oaks, offers moments of pure relaxation.

The cuisine, true to Cilento traditions, makes use of products from the farm, including olive oil, wine, honey, cured meats, vegetables, and homemade desserts. Among the specialties are hand-crafted pasta, grilled meats, and traditional Campanian bread baked in a wood-fired oven. Guests can participate in cooking classes to learn typical recipes and enjoy an authentic experience.

During their stay, guests can take walks through the olive groves and nearby pine forest, embark on nature excursions on Monte Stella or Gelbison, join guided tours of archaeological sites, and enjoy mini cruises to the caves of Capo Palinuro. Pets are welcome, making the facility suitable for those traveling with their four-legged friends.

Agriturismo San Giorgio combines Annamaria's warm hospitality with the charm of a land rich in history, nature, and flavors, turning every vacation into a treasured memory.

Area Collina

The municipality of Casal Velino is located in the heart of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano, and Alburni National Park, a protected area and UNESCO World Heritage site. Its location, nestled between the sea and hills, offers the chance to enjoy unspoiled landscapes and a rich historical and cultural heritage.

Just a few minutes away are the golden beaches of Marina di Casal Velino, recognized for their water quality and services. Nearby is Acciaroli, a charming seaside village associated with Ernest Hemingway, as well as the archaeological site of Velia, an ancient city of Magna Graecia. In less than an hour, one can reach the majestic temples of Paestum, the Pertosa and Castelcivita caves, the Certosa di Padula, and the stunning cliffs of Capo Palinuro, known for its sea caves accessible by boat.

Nature enthusiasts can explore the trails winding through Monte Stella, Monte Gelbison, and the Alburni mountains, which offer views stretching from the Tyrrhenian Sea to the inland mountains. The area is also rich in medieval villages, local festivals, and farmers' markets where one can discover authentic flavors, from extra virgin olive oil to the white figs of Cilento.

Thanks to the summer maritime transport network, the "MetrĂ² del Mare" allows travelers to depart from the Casal Velino harbor to reach Capri, the Amalfi Coast, and other locations in Cilento, making this region an ideal starting point for a stay that combines sea, culture, and nature.
