The Terra di Vento estate is situated in the heart of an authentic region, nestled among the hills of Montecorvino Pugliano in Salerno province, halfway between the Gulf sea and the Campanian hinterland. We are located in the Monti Picentini area, known for its stunning landscapes and natural beauty, characterized by gentle hills, forests, olive groves, and waterways that create a varied and ever-changing scenery.
The Macchia Morese locality, where the estate spans over 40 hectares, boasts a bountiful nature and a mild climate nearly year-round. The limestone and clay soils, perfect for agriculture, are home to hectares of ancient olive trees and vegetable crops, including those used in the Bottega. Surrounding the area, one can enjoy the serene countryside while keeping an eye on the sea: on clear days, the profiles of the Amalfi Coast and, farther away, the Cilento can be seen.
The location is ideal for those looking to explore some of the most beautiful and historically rich areas of Campania. Just a few kilometers away are Salerno with its vibrant historic center and promenade, the temples of Paestum, the Amalfi Coast with its famous towns such as Vietri, Cetara, Amalfi, and Ravello, as well as the Cilento National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. For nature enthusiasts and outdoor activity lovers, the Monti Picentini offers trekking paths, scenic trails, and cycling routes immersed in greenery.
Despite its rural tranquility, the area is well-connected: the Salerno Costa d'Amalfi airport is about 7 km away, and access to the highway makes it easy to reach Naples, Pompeii, and the islands of the Gulf.
This is a place that combines the strength of its landscape with a wealth of traditions, where every corner tells a story and invites visitors to slow down, observe, and fully engage.
