Hey, I'm Pasquale

My name is Pasquale, and I am the owner of Casale Nunziatina. I would like to share the story of this charming residence with you. Casale Nunziatina is an old farmhouse, surrounded by a lovely garden filled with citrus trees, vines, and olive trees. In 1920, my grandparents rented this property to cultivate the land. Later, the lease passed to my parents, and it is here that I grew up with my siblings. Our mother was named Nunziatina. My childhood was a wonderful time, immersed in nature. However, I left home early and went to maritime school, eventually pursuing a career as a Merchant Marine Officer and becoming the captain of oil tankers. Despite traveling the world, I always returned to our estate during holidays. I had the chance to explore various cultures, make new friends, and I have always had a deep passion for the hospitality industry and the warmth we can provide to tourists. Although my job took me far away, my dream was to return to live in the old farmhouse, a beautiful place where I could appreciate the tranquility and beauty of nature. Just imagining waking up in the morning to the sound of birds singing and sharing this experience with guests filled me with joy. In 2003, I finally fulfilled my dream of reclaiming "our home." Even though it was quite dated, having been built in the 1700s, I embarked on an extensive renovation project to restore it to its former glory while preserving its original features, such as the stone walls, vaulted ceilings, and exposed beams. Once the renovations were completed, four beautiful apartments were created, thoughtfully furnished with attention to detail, thanks to the help of my sister Rosa, a woman with a strong sense of hospitality who contributes to managing the Residence. I am excited to offer these apartments to visitors year-round. Every guest is welcomed like an old friend, and we are pleased to show them the place where we grew up. We love spending time chatting with them, especially on summer evenings when it’s delightful to be outdoors under the stars, sipping a refreshing drink. Sharing moments with friends, surrounded by nature, is a truly rewarding experience for the spirit, enriching our quality of life and helping us live better! Naturally, the name of the house is a tribute to our mother Nunziatina, an extraordinary woman who dedicated her life to work and family. It felt natural for us to name this house after her. We look forward to welcoming you, Rosa and Pasquale.
