Maison Margot is situated in one of the most authentic and scenic areas of Forio, surrounded by greenery and the typical Mediterranean landscape of the island of Ischia. This region offers a relaxed atmosphere, far from the hustle and bustle, making it ideal for those who wish to alternate beach days with moments of tranquility in nature, amidst vineyards, gardens, and sea views.
In just a few minutes, you can reach the famous Citara Bay, one of the island's most beloved beaches, known for its vast stretch of golden sand, clear waters, and spectacular sunsets. Adjacent to the beach is the renowned Poseidon Thermal Park, a large complex set in greenery with thermal pools, wellness pathways, and direct access to the sea, making it a perfect spot for relaxing days surrounded by thermal water and beautiful scenery.
The area is also appreciated for the presence of the Ravino Gardens, an elegant botanical garden specializing in succulent and Mediterranean plants, ideal for a peaceful stroll amid nature and art. Just a few kilometers away are the famous La Mortella Gardens, one of the most enchanting places on the island, where tropical vegetation blends with panoramic terraces and charming corners.
The historic center of Forio, easily accessible, retains the island's most authentic spirit with its lively squares, white alleys, artisan shops, traditional eateries, and its characteristic seafront. Here, you can stroll among historic churches, small shops, and restaurants where you can enjoy Ischian cuisine, including seafood dishes, Ischian-style rabbit, and local wines produced in the surrounding hills.
In the vicinity of the property, there are plenty of scenic trattorias, bars, and small markets, providing convenience for a holiday full of freedom. The location also serves as an excellent starting point for exploring other areas of the island, from the beaches of Cava dell’Isola and Chiaia to the picturesque village of Ischia Ponte, home to the Aragonese Castle, a historical symbol of the entire island.
