The Refuge of the Gods is an ancient rural residence from the 19th century, nestled in the natural beauty of the Amalfi Coast, located in the Arienzo district of Positano. Renovated in 2007 while honoring the local architecture, it preserves characteristic features such as barrel vaults, chestnut lintels, and lime plastering.

Surrounded by an olive grove and a coppice forest, the refuge offers three mini-apartments – Poseidon, Dionysus, and Aphrodite – tastefully decorated with details from the Amalfi tradition, including Vietri ceramics and dome ceilings. Poseidon, in particular, includes a double bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchenette, and breathtaking views of the coastline.

Access to the property is via 300 steps along a path immersed in Mediterranean scrub, providing a peaceful oasis with views of Positano, the Li Galli island, Punta Campanella, and Capri. Staying here means experiencing the authentic beauty of the coast, surrounded by nature, tradition, and unforgettable vistas.

Once you arrive in Positano, you need to take the local road “Arienzo” for a stretch of 250 steps, and then continue along a well-paved path (about 150 meters) that allows you to enjoy some of the wildlife species of the Mediterranean scrub. Finally, by crossing the beautifully maintained agricultural land for about 60 steps, you will reach the Country House. The entire route is well-lit, as is the surrounding area of the building.
