Nestled among the hills of Rio Eremo, surrounded by lush and generous landscapes, Agricola unfolds as an agriturismo with genuine charm where time seems to slow down and every detail is crafted to provide an experience of simplicity and well-being. This rustic Romagna farmhouse, painted in terracotta hues, came to life in the spring of 2015 as the latest venture of Terre Giunchi, a biological farm that has always celebrated the land and its produce.

Agricola is, first and foremost, a home. On the upper floor of the farmhouse, four cozy rooms named after woodland animals are tastefully decorated, featuring soft colors and intimate atmospheres, making them perfect for a rejuvenating stay away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

It is also about cuisine, as hospitality begins at the table. The culinary offerings blend tradition and creativity, with dishes inspired by family recipes that are carefully reimagined, primarily using organic ingredients sourced from the farm itself. The restaurant is open for dinner from Wednesday to Sunday during the summer months, with reduced hours in winter, and also serves lunch on weekends.

Lastly, Agricola is a shop, a place where visitors can purchase the farm's products, such as wine, extra virgin olive oil, preserves, and juices, but it also serves as a meeting space, a hub for ideas and events. Breakfast is served every morning from 8 to 10, featuring homemade pastries, with savory options available upon request.

Agricola is a place that one arrives at by chance or desire, and leaves with a heartfelt memory, filled with authentic flavors, nature, and warmth.
Rooms and Rates
Breakfast at Agricola is a special moment designed to start the day with flavor and serenity. It is served every morning from 8 to 10 and offers a wide variety of homemade sweets made with genuine ingredients and inspired by tradition. For those who prefer savory options, simple yet delightful choices are available upon request, always emphasizing quality and seasonality. All of this is complemented by hot beverages, fruit juices, and the tranquility of the hills surrounding the farmhouse.
The Agricola restaurant is the most authentic representation of Romagna cuisine, reinterpreted with contemporary sensitivity and a strong focus on high-quality ingredients, many of which come directly from the organic farm, Terre Giunchi. The dishes tell stories of seasons, the local area, and family, all within a warm and casual atmosphere that encourages togetherness.

During the months of June, July, and August, it is open for dinner only from Wednesday to Sunday. From September to May, guests are welcomed for dinner on Thursdays and Fridays, while on Saturdays and Sundays, they can choose between lunch and dinner. The menu varies in accordance with the rhythm of nature and frequently changes, yet it consistently emphasizes the genuine flavors of thoughtfully prepared dishes.

Area Collina

The hills of Rio Eremo, where Agricola is situated, provide a gentle and refreshing landscape, characterized by cultivated fields, tranquil forests, and roads winding through rows of vines and olive trees. This scenery encourages a slower pace, making it ideal for those looking to reconnect with nature and find balance through silence, the earthy scents, and the shifting colors of light throughout the day.

This region of Romagna retains an authentic and rural spirit, far from the more frequented tourist paths, yet it is rich in opportunities for exploration. The small villages nearby hold ancient traditions, Romanesque churches, artisanal shops, and stunning panoramic views. While walking or cycling along the hillside trails, one can easily stumble upon medieval towers, historic fountains, and viewpoints offering sweeping vistas of the countryside stretching all the way to the sea on clear days.

The area is also abundant in gastronomic offerings: wineries, dairies, and local producers welcome those eager to discover the flavors of this generous land, where wine, oil, fruits, and wild herbs tell the story of a landscape tended with care.

Rio Eremo is the perfect destination for those seeking a vacation focused on relaxation, good food, and leisurely discovery. Here, every season has its charm, and each detail contributes to an authentic experience filled with rich silences, genuine encounters, and landscapes that leave a lasting impression.
