Nestled in the tranquility of the countryside at the foot of the Reggio hills, Agriturismo Il Brugnolo serves as a haven of nature, peace, and authenticity, surrounded by organic vineyards and expansive green spaces. Just three kilometers from the center of Scandiano, the property combines the rural charm of a historic stone farmhouse from the 1800s with a discreet and functional new building, all within a family-run farm that maintains a deep connection to the land and its seasons.

Guests can stay in seven independent, bright, and well-appointed apartments designed to provide privacy and organizational freedom. Three two-room apartments are located on the ground floor of the historic farmhouse, featuring independent entrances and renovated spaces that respect the original style; four modern studio apartments are situated in the building at the back, overlooking the same courtyard. Each accommodation includes a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, Dorelan mattresses, independent heating and air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower, and all the essentials for a comfortable stay, whether short or long.

Outside, there is a large equipped park, perfect for alternating relaxation with social moments. A gazebo, barbecue, solarium, outdoor tables, ping pong, and foosball are set in a natural environment where children can play safely, and adults can unwind at a leisurely pace, enjoying reading in the shade and walking on the grass. Surrounding the area, rows of vines and fruit orchards invite leisurely strolls among the scents and colors of the countryside, with the option, during the season, to pick fruit directly from the trees. A common room with a large table accommodates groups when the weather does not permit outdoor activities.

The facility is particularly suited for families and groups of friends, thanks to the option to reserve the entire complex or a single building, always maintaining an intimate and informal atmosphere. Pets are welcome in the ground-floor two-room apartments, ensuring easy access and open spaces for them to move freely. Cyclists and motorcyclists will find a secure garage, a small workshop, and dedicated maintenance areas, along with scenic routes winding through hills, back roads, and natural trails.

Il Brugnolo embodies a concept of hospitality linked to sustainability, with organically cultivated vineyards, a photovoltaic system, and a focus on reducing plastic and properly managing waste. Here, vacations take on the rhythm of nature: silences, expansive skies, clean air, and the feeling of being far from chaos, while remaining strategically located to explore charming villages, artistic cities, culinary excellence, and the landscapes of Emilia. It is a place designed for those seeking thoughtful simplicity, genuine spaces, and a welcoming yet unobtrusive atmosphere, where one can feel at home from the very first day.

Hey, I'm Cristina

Behind the welcoming atmosphere of Agriturismo Il Brugnolo are Claudia and Roberto, guardians of a family story deeply intertwined with this land. Their lifestyle choice stems from an authentic connection to the place where it all began: an old family farm featuring a stone farmhouse from the 19th century and vineyards that shape the landscape. When the opportunity arose to continue the family business, Claudia decided to leave her office job to fully commit to the countryside, tackling a journey of training and hands-on experience, supported by her father's expertise. What started as a challenge evolved into a shared life project. Roberto also opted for a new path, joining her in managing the farm and hospitality. The idea of opening the agriturismo emerged from a desire to breathe new life into the renovated farmhouse and to share the simple beauty of this rural environment, characterized by silence, changing seasons, vineyard aromas, and natural rhythms. Today, the management retains a family-oriented approach that fosters a direct, spontaneous, and non-intrusive relationship, where the owners’ presence is constant yet discreet, always ready to provide support, suggestions, and personalized attention. Their guiding philosophy combines genuine hospitality with respect for the environment. Organic farming practices in the vineyards, the use of solar energy, and a commitment to reducing plastic are tangible choices that reflect a lifestyle rather than just a service offered. For Claudia and Roberto, welcoming guests means making them feel part of a genuine, unconstructed place, where caring for the surroundings, cleanliness, and the well-being of visitors are daily priorities. Over time, newer generations of the family have begun to participate in the management, bringing continuity and renewed enthusiasm to a project that remains rooted in its origins. The result is a warm yet measured hospitality, where the experience extends beyond the stay to become a meeting, exchange, and sharing of a lifestyle connected to the land, simplicity, and the value of relationships. Here, every detail tells a story born from heartfelt choices, and each guest is embraced as part of an ongoing narrative that unfolds season after season.
