In the serene heart of the Bassa di Lesignano, just a few kilometers from Parma and directly opposite the picturesque Torrechiara Castle, the Bed and Breakfast della Canadella welcomes guests in a beautifully restored stone house, carefully renovated in 2015 to maintain its original charm. Surrounded by nature and enhanced by a pond with water lilies, an orchard, and a garden with a gazebo and barbecue, the property provides a relaxing and authentic atmosphere.

The rooms are located in the south wing of the house: on the first floor, there are two double/twin rooms, each with a private bathroom, while on the ground floor, there is a triple room with a dedicated bathroom. Guests have access to the breakfast room, a library with over three thousand books, and a meeting room converted from an old stable, which is also suitable for small events.

Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 9:30 and includes homemade cakes and jams, cookies, yogurt, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, and juices, with the option to enjoy local specialties such as cured meats and cheeses upon request. During the warmer months, guests can have breakfast outdoors or relax among the fruit trees.

The B&B is particularly well-suited for families, couples, and small groups of friends. It offers parking for cars and motorcycles, board games for all ages, and chess sets provided by Luciano, an enthusiastic chess player who is also happy to share his extensive library. The house is an ideal retreat for those seeking peace to focus or prepare for a tournament.

Cinzia and Luciano live in one wing of the house and ensure discretion and availability, offering suggestions for exploring the area and organizing visits to local prosciutto producers and cheese makers. Identification documents must be presented upon arrival. Parma is about a twenty-minute drive away and can also be reached by bus every two hours.

Guests can enjoy it in the indoor dining area or, during pleasant weather, in the garden or orchard, surrounded by the tranquility of the countryside.
