Villa Anita is a stylish 18th-century residence that has been meticulously restored and is surrounded by greenery, located just five kilometers from the center of Reggio Emilia. It serves as a perfect retreat for business travelers or those seeking an exclusive stay away from the more frequented tourist paths.

The day begins with a refined breakfast served in the charming Peacock Room, adorned with a coffered ceiling, a red marble fireplace, Murano chandeliers, and antique furnishings. On beautiful days, guests can enjoy breakfast in the secret garden, enveloped by the tranquility and beauty of nature.

The Italian-style garden, well-maintained and lined with alternating poplars and oaks, offers an atmosphere of elegance and serenity. At its center, a fountain with water features creates a picturesque scene, which can also be admired from the terrace on the first floor. In spring, the garden transforms into a true spectacle, filled with colors and scents that invite relaxation.

The expansive private park, spanning over 63,000 square meters, is an oasis of unspoiled nature, perfect for leisurely walks along the tree-lined access road, through the grove inhabited by deer, hares, pheasants, and herons, and near the ancient rustic buildings adjacent to the villa. Golf enthusiasts can take advantage of a practice course designed by Brazilian master Liguorino De Gori. The six-hole par 3 course provides an ideal experience for those looking to refine their pitch and putt skills or for beginners wishing to explore the sport in a unique setting. Equipment is available on-site.

Inside the villa, guests can discover a beautiful library on the ground floor, entirely lined with elegant paneling. A collection of ancient and modern volumes invites visitors to immerse themselves in an atmosphere rich in culture and timeless charm.

Villa Anita is the perfect place for those seeking tranquility, beauty, and an authentic lodging experience, where history and nature coexist in perfect harmony.

Hey, I'm Vittorio

The concept of opening the doors of Villa Anita to visitors originated with lawyer Vittorio Caroggio, a long-time friend of the Fontanesi family. Tired of dealing with legal matters, he, along with his mother Adele, decided to channel his positivity into this new venture. His innate friendliness, love for good company, and desire to help others add significant value for the guests at the Villa, allowing them to experience a warm and welcoming atmosphere, akin to that of a family.
