Hey, I'm Moris

The story began in the 1960s, when my mother's family took over the management of the Osteria del Castello di San Martino in Minerbio. My grandmother Giorgina was already renowned for her ragù and for the long sheets of pasta she could roll out with two rolling pins; my grandfather Ivano was the local butcher and from a young age was called upon by the farming families for his skill in "handling" pigs. In this now distant world, among handmade pasta and cured meats, grilled meats, and tavern jokes, I was born. And of course, I was infected by the joy and kindness that surrounded me. Who am I? I am Moris Libanori, and in 2004 with my family we opened Sorsimorsi, a countryside house converted into a restaurant where some dishes still evoke the flavors of the tavern where I grew up. We are proud to offer the most authentic Emilian cuisine in a simple and relaxed atmosphere, just like the taverns of the past.
