Description
In the heart of tranquility, "The Squirrel House" is nestled within a spacious 5000 square meter garden in an elegant residential village located on a gentle hill in the outskirts of Bologna. Despite being surrounded by nature and greenery, guests are just a short distance from the center of Bologna, which is easily accessible, as well as from major roadways, including the entrances to the ring road and highways that provide quick connections to the city and other points of interest.

Our Bed & Breakfast offers a peaceful and comfortable stay experience. The apartment, exclusively available to guests, features a spacious and bright double bedroom, a living room with a lounge area and additional sleeping arrangements, two bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. With a private entrance, each guest can enjoy their own privacy. Additionally, nature enthusiasts can stroll along the quiet avenues of the village, where they often encounter the many squirrels that inhabit our garden.

For sports lovers, the villa is adjacent to the village's tennis courts, which are also accessible in the evening thanks to night lighting. During the summer months, guests can take advantage of the village pool, as well as numerous other sports facilities nearby, including a bocce court. The villa also offers one or two parking spaces for the convenience of guests.

The surrounding area is rich in natural and cultural attractions. Just a 15-minute drive away is the Unipol Arena, which hosts sports events and international concerts. For those interested in history and culture, within walking distance is the Mausoleum of Guglielmo Marconi and Villa Grifone, a historic site where the famous scientist conducted his early radio experiments, now showcased in the Marconi Museum. Additionally, nearby are the Maglio ponds, perfect for a day outdoors, or exploring historic villages like Colle Ameno, known for its ceramic traditions.

History buffs can easily reach the National Etruscan Museum and the archaeological site of Marzabotto, which attest to the greatness of the Etruscan civilization.
