The Bed & Breakfast La Francesa is a farmhouse nestled in the serene countryside of Carpi, surrounded by a spacious garden and a vineyard. Recently renovated, it offers a warm and homely atmosphere, featuring comfortable accommodations and the chance to enjoy nature in complete relaxation.

The property includes an apartment with a double bedroom, living room, and bathroom, perfect for hosting two to four guests, as well as two double rooms on the ground floor, each with a private bathroom and independent access from the garden. One of these rooms is equipped to accommodate guests with disabilities. During the warmer months, breakfast is served outdoors, allowing guests to start their day immersed in the tranquility of the countryside.

Located just a few minutes from the center of Carpi, the B&B is easily accessible by bicycle thanks to a convenient cycling path. Nearby, you can find the WWF Oasis La Francesa, ideal for a refreshing walk in nature. The area is known for its culinary delights, including lambrusco wine, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, and traditional balsamic vinegar from Modena.

Among the treats we offer, you will find homemade pastries, yogurt, fresh bread (both multigrain and white), toast, butter, artisanal jam, spreadable chocolate, cornflakes, orange juice, fresh fruit, coffee made with the traditional Italian moka, organic milk, and tea.

Hey, I'm Isa

My name is Isa, I am the manager of the B&B La Francesa. I started this business just for fun and it is now more than 10 years since the B&B opened in 2007. It seems like yesterday, after a holiday in a nice B&B on an island in Tuscany, I came home keen to open my own B&B. I am personally welcome our guests and preparing breakfast. I like it when a guest tells me that he feels like home.

The Bed and Breakfast La Francesa is located in the beautiful province of Modena, in the municipality of Carpi, specifically in the area of Fossoli.

This cozy B&B is just a 10-minute drive from the Carpi exit of the Brenner highway.

To get there, take the Carpi exit from the Brenner highway and follow the signs for Mantova/Fossoli. Continue on the Bruno Losi ring road until you reach Fossoli. At the traffic light in this district, with a Conad supermarket on your right, turn right onto Via Ivano Martinelli. Keep going on Via Ivano Martinelli until the next traffic light, where you will intersect with Via Remesina. Proceed straight, and after about 300 meters, take a left onto Stradello Fassi. Be cautious, as the road is narrow and has curves.

The Bed and Breakfast La Francesa is the only farmhouse on the left; you will see a B&B sign on one of the external columns.

The nearest train station is in Carpi, approximately 3.5 km away from the Bed and Breakfast La Francesa.
