Welcoming guests means much more to us than just providing a bed; it’s about crafting an authentic experience filled with details, smiles, and connections that stay in the heart. Each visitor carries a story and a memory to share, and this ongoing exchange is what brings life and uniqueness to our daily routine. We like to think of each stay as a small chapter of happiness that we write together, driven by our passion for hospitality and attention to every detail. Antonella is the warm-hearted spirit of the Combriccola. As the daughter of tailors, she decided in 2014 to change her path: she closed the family’s long-standing men’s clothing shop to open her home, transforming it into a place where people can feel good. She enjoys taking care of her guests with kindness, making them feel at home as if they were old friends, serving them a good coffee made with a moka pot, and indulging in a piece of dark chocolate. However, she has her own weaknesses: she regrets not being able to accommodate every request, dislikes running out of flour in the kitchen, isn’t fond of flying, and doesn’t like to go out without makeup. Emilio is the master craftsman of the Combriccola, a man who turns wood into objects brimming with character. Every table, chandelier, or piece of furniture showcases his skill and appreciation for handmade artistry. He is always eager to recommend routes, hidden corners, and excellent restaurants to try. Biking is his preferred mode of transportation, while crossword puzzles are his daily challenge. But he has his quirks: he cannot stand undercooked piada, doesn’t like staying up late, and changes the station if the radio doesn’t have a decent music lineup. Together, we share a lifestyle and hospitality approach that focuses on people, stories, and the beauty of small things.
