6Stanco is a retreat nestled in the nature of the Bolognese Apennines, located in the small village of Stanco, a fraction of Grizzana Morandi. Surrounded by gardens, woods, and scenic terraces, it provides a tranquil atmosphere with stunning views of Montovolo, Corno, and Cimone. The property includes a main house and renovated stone barns, arranged around a spacious courtyard where guests can unwind and enjoy the serenity of the countryside.

Accommodations feature three double rooms in the bed & breakfast, each with a private bathroom and complimentary Wi-Fi. Guests also have access to a standalone villa and two mini-apartments. Villa Olimpia, a restored ancient stone drying house, boasts three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private terrace, accommodating up to six people. The mini-apartments Giacomina and Giuseppina, converted from the barn, offer independent entrances, a living area with a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a loft with three sleeping spaces, ideal for families of up to five.

Winter breakfast is served indoors at the B&B, while in the summer, when the weather permits, you can enjoy it on the terrace, surrounded by nature beneath the vines. A delightful selection of tea, latte, or espresso awaits you, accompanied by fresh orange juice, freshly baked bread, individual servings of butter, local honey, and homemade jams, as well as single portions of jam. You will also find yogurt and seasonal fruits, including our delicious figs, grapes, pears, raspberries, and plums. To round off your breakfast, there is a variety of cereals available, and during peak season, you can also indulge in donuts, tarts, or homemade cakes.

The picturesque village of Stanco is located just 2.5 km south of Grizzana, along the CAI 100 trail, at an elevation of 600 meters above sea level, on the southern slope of Monte Stanco. This charming spot lies along the ridge that divides the Reno and Setta rivers and has significant historical importance, having been part of the Gothic Line in 1944. Grizzana Morandi is situated at the southern edge of the Monte Sole Regional Historical Park. From Stanco, one can enjoy breathtaking views of Montovolo, with the bell tower of the Sanctuary clearly visible, as well as admire Monte Cimone and Corno alle Scale. Surrounded by nature, the village is worth a short stroll to Stanco di Sotto, where visitors can see the Oratory of Saints Sebastian and Fabian, renowned for its beautiful altarpiece.
