In the heart of the Val Cosa hills, where the silence is only broken by the gentle flow of a stream, there stands a small establishment that welcomes guests with simplicity and warmth. Our guesthouse was created through the careful and passionate restoration of a farmhouse, carried out with dedication by the owners. Every detail tells a story, starting with the ladder that has been salvaged and transformed into a unique chandelier, now illuminating the breakfast room.

The guest rooms, a total of four, are spread over two levels and each features a private bathroom, independent climate control, Wi-Fi, a TV, a minibar, a kettle with herbal teas, mosquito nets, and a courtesy kit. Some accommodations also offer a terrace or balcony overlooking the greenery. Breakfast is served buffet-style, featuring fresh and seasonal products, both sweet and savory, and can be customized according to individual needs.

The garden, private parking, and warm hospitality that also welcomes small pets make for a comfortable and relaxing stay. For cycling enthusiasts, free assistance for bicycles and a charging station for e-bikes are available nearby.

We are located in Paludea, a tiny village in Castelnovo del Friuli, an authentic and tranquil place. From here, you can explore mysterious caves, forest trails, mountain biking routes, and adrenaline-pumping activities like paragliding and canyoning. Just a few kilometers away, Spilimbergo will amaze you with its artistic and cultural heritage.

Our home is called “La Scala,” in tribute to the ancient object that has inspired us from the very beginning. Here, you will find a simple yet well-kept atmosphere, where you can feel at home amidst nature, relaxation, and stories waiting to be told.
