Nestled among olive groves and ancient oaks, Agriturismo Cisogna is a simple and authentic retreat located in the hills of Anagni. The wooden cottages, positioned along the slope, provide a warm and familial atmosphere that blends perfectly with the surrounding nature. Each accommodation features a private veranda and panoramic views of the valley, making it an ideal spot for those seeking tranquility and a connection to the land. Some bungalows come with kitchenettes and can accommodate families, while the bright and functional rooms overlook the greenery, offering a pleasant sense of well-being and simplicity.

The day begins with a wholesome breakfast served from 8 to 10, featuring homemade pastries, freshly baked croissants, warm bread with honey and organic jams, fresh fruit, and hot beverages. Every morning, the kitchen fills the air with aromas reminiscent of home and countryside.

The small restaurant, located in a wooden veranda with large windows overlooking the garden, is the heart of the establishment. Here, Laura prepares traditional dishes using freshly picked vegetables, local meats, and handmade pasta. The menu changes daily, reflecting the season and creativity, and during the summer, guests can also dine outdoors, under the pergola or among the trees. The atmosphere is simple, friendly, and genuine, perfect for those who appreciate traditional cooking made with real ingredients and honest flavors.

The summer pool, play area, and spacious green areas make the agriturismo ideal for families. Guests can visit the small farm and get to know the semi-wild animals, or follow the paths that lead to the nearby woods or to Anagni, which is reachable on foot in about two kilometers.

Angela, Giuseppe, and Laura welcome each guest as a family friend, passionately continuing the dream of their father Mario, who transformed this hill into an oasis of peace and authenticity.

The location is perfect for exploring the medieval villages of Ciociaria, the Fiuggi thermal baths, the Cesanese wineries, and the amusement parks Magicland and MagicSplash. In no time, Rome and Tivoli are also accessible, making Agriturismo Cisogna an excellent starting point for discovering the true essence of Lazio.

Hey, I'm Angela

Angela, along with her brother Giuseppe and their mother Laura, passionately upholds the legacy of their father Mario, who two decades ago transformed an uncultivated hill into a small rural paradise. The Agriturismo Cisogna was born from his dream of creating a place where nature and hospitality could meet in a simple and genuine way. Angela enjoys traveling and listening to the stories of her guests, sharing experiences and curiosities about the area with them. Giuseppe manages the farm and often guides visitors through the olive groves, gardens, and semi-wild animals, while Laura is the heart of the kitchen: each day, she prepares fresh pasta, desserts, and wholesome dishes using produce from the garden and countryside. Together, they welcome every guest as part of the family, with a warm sincerity that makes each stay an authentic and unforgettable experience.

Area Collina

Agriturismo Cisogna is situated amidst the gentle hills of Ciociaria, offering a scenic view across to the historic city of Anagni, known as an ancient papal seat and a jewel of medieval art. The landscape here features a mix of oak forests, olive groves, and cultivated fields, creating an authentic and unspoiled environment perfect for those seeking peace and nature, while also having the opportunity to explore areas rich in history and tradition.

Just a short drive away is Anagni, renowned for its Romanesque cathedral, which boasts a stunning frescoed crypt often referred to as the "Sistine Chapel of the Middle Ages." The surrounding area is dotted with charming villages like Piglio, Paliano, Acuto, and Serrone, where excellent Cesanese wines are produced, and time seems to stand still amidst narrow streets, artisan shops, and views that stretch to the Ernici Mountains.

For those who enjoy relaxation, the Fiuggi and Ferentino spas offer rejuvenating treatments, while families can spend a day at the amusement parks Rainbow Magicland and MagicSplash, or in the Paliano Forest, which features an Adventure Park.

Rome is less than an hour away and can also be easily reached by train from the Anagni station, making this region ideal for alternating days in nature with cultural visits to the capital.

This corner of Lazio still retains the authenticity of the countryside of yesteryear, characterized by tranquil landscapes, small local producers, and the scents of wood and earth. It’s a place to slow down, rediscover simplicity, and be enveloped by the genuine rhythm of rural life.
