The Girasole House, located in Monterotondo and recently built, provides a comfortable and modern welcome. On the ground floor, you will find three double rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and the option to add an extra bed. A spacious 45-square-meter lounge serves as the perfect spot for enjoying breakfast in the winter, while guests can take advantage of the outdoor terrace in the summer. In the basement, there is a large quadruple room with two bathrooms and access through a window/door. All the rooms in the villa feature windows/doors leading to the porch, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, guests can make use of the gym, where yoga classes are often held, to keep their bodies and minds in perfect harmony during their stay.

Just 300 meters from our bed and breakfast, you will find the Casa Ruggeri restaurant and pizzeria, which boasts a stunning panoramic view. It is within easy walking distance, and for pizza lovers, there is a must-try unlimited pizza menu for 18 euros per person, which also includes a Peroni beer. If you wish to enhance your dinner, you can add some delicious fried specialties for just an additional 3 euros per person.

Area

The Casa del Girasole is located 2 km from the center of Monterotondo, to the north of Rome, in a strategically advantageous position for accessing the capital and Fiumicino Airport. A convenient local train connects Monterotondo to Rome in 20 minutes and to the airport in about an hour, with departures every 20 minutes. The Monterotondo Scalo station serves as the key point for these connections, and a shuttle service can be arranged upon request, subject to availability.

Just 2 km away is the local hospital, which serves as the healthcare hub for Monterotondo and nearby towns. Casa del Girasole is situated at Via della Gavaccia 91, but it is advisable to take an alternative route for easier access, going past the hospital and continuing along Via di San Matteo until you reach Via di San Angelo.

Approximately 18 km away is the Mormon Temple on Via di Settebagni, which can be reached by car in about 20 minutes.
