The Hill of Olives is located in the municipality of Itri, a charming place set in a distinctive valley, not far from Sperlonga and Gaeta. This delightful village is dominated by a magnificent medieval castle that enhances its allure. On clear days, one can admire the islands of the Pontine archipelago rising on the horizon.
To reach the Bed and Breakfast, visitors travel a short road that winds through gentle hills and olive groves, making the journey a picturesque experience. The B&B is strategically situated, surrounded by the tranquility of an unspoiled landscape, yet just a short distance from the renowned beaches of the Pontine coast. Gaeta and Sperlonga are only about a 15-minute drive away, while Sabaudia, San Felice Circeo, and Terracina are a little over 30 minutes by car.
The Pontine Islands, including Ponza, Ventotene, and Palmarola, are easily accessible by ferry from Formia. Furthermore, Rome and Naples are approximately 150 and 100 km away, respectively, making the Hill of Olives an excellent starting point for exploring these two major cities.
The Pontine coast is a true paradise, featuring natural treasures such as the Circeo National Park and beautiful towns like Sabaudia, Sperlonga, Gaeta, and Terracina. Along the coastline, there are numerous famous beaches, many of which proudly hold the Blue Flag award for the quality of their waters.
