La Casa della Rocca

The Casa della Rocca welcomes its guests in a charming mountain village where time seems to move at a slower pace and nature takes center stage. Spread over three levels, it blends simplicity and comfort in an authentic atmosphere. On the ground floor, you'll find a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy sitting area with a pellet stove, TV, and a sofa bed; the first floor features a double bedroom that offers a stunning view of Monte Terminillo and Monte Giano, accompanied by a modern bathroom; the basement has a bunk bed, perfect for families or small groups. Outside, the small square with benches provides an ideal spot to relax in the fresh air.

The house is equipped with everything needed for a peaceful stay: Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with streaming service, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, refrigerator, kettle, and coffee machine, a washing machine, heating, and linens. Board games and thoughtful little details help create a warm and homely atmosphere.

The village of Rocca di Fondi, just a few kilometers from Antrodoco, retains its historical charm, with its stone streets, picturesque views, and the church of Madonna Assunta that overlooks the area. Surrounding it are forests of chestnut and beech trees, abundant with mushrooms and wild strawberries, perfect for refreshing walks. Hiking enthusiasts can access the Piscignola plateau, Monte Nuria, and numerous trails set in unspoiled landscapes.

The location is ideal for exploring Rieti, with its captivating historical center, and L’Aquila, a city suspended between history and nature, as well as for experiencing authentic adventures among lakes, villages, and historic thermal baths.
