In the hillside village of Gorleri, overlooking the Dianese Gulf and offering a view that extends to the medieval town of Cervo, lies L’Orto di Muma, a farmhouse born from the desire to share a life connected to nature. After spending years in Milan, Simona and Enrico decided to return to their roots and create a project where hospitality, simplicity, and beauty intertwine. They are accompanied by their young son Edoardo and their affectionate and discreet dog, Talisker.

The two suites, Albarola and Granaccia, are named after Ligurian grape varieties and are distinguished by a carefully curated and relaxing style. Each suite, approximately 40 square meters in size, features a living area, bedroom, private bathroom, and a porch that opens onto a fragrant garden adorned with edible flowers and a jasmine-covered pergola. A highlight of the stay is the heated hot tub with a sea view. Both suites are equipped with a minibar, flat-screen TV, coffee maker, kettle, and locally made toiletries.

Breakfast is served buffet-style in the common room and includes bread, focaccia, cakes, and cookies made by Simona, along with a selection of local delicacies. In addition to providing accommodation, Enrico and Simona are happy to offer advice and suggestions for exploring the surrounding area, enjoying authentic experiences, and immersing oneself in the nature and traditions of Liguria.

L’Orto di Muma is a place where every detail tells a story filled with passion, care, and a desire to share.

Hey, I'm Enrico & Simona

The managers of L’Orto di Muma are Simona and Enrico, a couple who decided to change their lives to fulfill a dream: to live in harmony with nature and welcome travelers seeking discovery and tranquility. After years of working in Milan, they chose to return to Liguria to focus on the family garden and hospitality, establishing an agriturismo that embodies their values. Along with their young son Edoardo and their dog Talisker, they live near the property and are always available to meet the needs of their guests, providing personalized advice and a warm, genuine, family-like welcome.

Area Collina

Muma's Garden is located in Gorleri, a small hilltop village nestled in the tranquility of the Ligurian countryside, just a few minutes away from Imperia and Diano Marina. Its scenic location offers an expansive view of the Dianese Gulf, featuring picturesque glimpses that stretch to the distinctive silhouette of the medieval village of Cervo, set against a backdrop of olive trees and the blue sea.

The surrounding area is a patchwork of authentic landscapes: cultivated hills, paths through olive groves, sandy beaches, and small towns steeped in history. Within minutes, one can reach the lively seaside resorts of Diano Marina and Imperia, where visitors can stroll among shops, marinas, and local markets. Nature enthusiasts will find numerous trails to explore on foot or by bike, traversing ridges with sea views and ancient mule tracks.

There are plenty of opportunities to discover local cuisine, with olive oil mills, wineries, and trattorias that showcase the flavors of Liguria with simplicity and authenticity. The hosts are always eager to suggest personalized itineraries and activities in the area, helping guests to experience a genuine visit, away from the more crowded tourist trails, yet rich in beauty and discovery.
