The village where the B&B Dalù is located is a small settlement with medieval origins, nestled among the hills of the Western Ligurian region at about 130 meters above sea level. Part of the municipality of Finale Ligure, it lies at the foot of the Manie plateau, a natural area of significant value, featuring scenic trails and fragrant Mediterranean scrub forests. The landscape is marked by stone terraces, olive groves, and dry-stone walls, remnants of an ancient farming civilization that can still be felt in the tranquility and simplicity of the surroundings.
The village overlooks the Val Ponci, famous for its five Roman bridges that once connected the Via Julia Augusta. This route is now popular with hikers and mountain biking enthusiasts, who find an ideal blend of nature and archaeology along these paths. Just a few kilometers higher stands the Rocca di Corno, a rock face highly regarded among climbing fans, offering routes of varying difficulty and spectacular views of the sea.
Despite the area's peace and the lack of businesses within the village, the location is strategic: it takes only a few minutes to reach the center of Finale Ligure and the Bay of Saracens, one of the most beautiful beaches in Liguria, known for its crystal-clear waters and ideal conditions for swimming and snorkeling. This balance between the rural hinterland and the coastal area makes the region perfect for those seeking a vacation focused on nature, sports, and relaxation, away from the more crowded tourist circuits.
