  • Romantic atmosphere
Nestled amidst the greenery of the Bolano hills, just a few minutes from the city of La Spezia, this charming bed and breakfast provides a tranquil retreat in the serenity of the countryside, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. Its location is perfect for exploring the Cinque Terre, Lunigiana, and many of the wonders of Liguria and Tuscany, all easily accessible by car.

The house features two spacious double rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, a scenic balcony, and the option to add an extra bed. Each room is equipped with a TV and minibar, ensuring comfort and privacy in a welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast, prepared by Giuseppina, is served every morning with fresh products, homemade pastries, garden fruits, and, upon request, savory options.

The garden, complete with a gazebo, sun loungers, a barbecue, and children's games, is the ideal spot to unwind after a day of hiking. In the summer, a fully equipped kitchen is also available for guests. The establishment provides complete linens, cleaning services, and warm hospitality, thanks to the efforts of Giuseppina and her husband Lino, who are eager to introduce you to the products grown in their land.

Although well-connected, the B&B is situated in an area where having your own vehicle is recommended. The bus stop is just a few meters from the house, but the service is not available on holidays. Giuseppina and her family will welcome you with smiles and the sincerity of those who love to share their little corner of the world with visitors.

Hey, I'm Giuseppina

The bed and breakfast is run by Giuseppina, affectionately known as Giusi, who with passion and dedication takes care of her guests, providing a warm and familial welcome. Now retired, she enjoys gardening, animals, and outdoor living, and has chosen to open her home to those who wish to experience this corner of Liguria in an authentic and relaxed manner. Alongside her is her husband Lino, who enthusiastically assists in managing the establishment and offers products from their land, carefully cultivated. Together, they make a close-knit and accommodating couple, eager to share not only their home but also stories, advice, and little secrets about the area, ensuring you feel right at home.

Area Collina

The bed and breakfast is located in Bolano, a peaceful hillside village nestled in the Ligurian countryside, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and forests, strategically positioned between Liguria and Tuscany. This region serves as an excellent starting point for exploring some of the most captivating destinations in northwestern Italy, blending nature, culture, and tradition.

About a twenty-minute drive away is La Spezia, a vibrant port city featuring a charming historic center, museums, local markets, and the harbor from which ferries depart for the Cinque Terre, Portovenere, Palmaria Island, and further north, Portofino. The La Spezia train station, also accessible by bus, allows for quick travel to the villages of Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterosso, all UNESCO World Heritage sites and the beating heart of the Cinque Terre National Park.

Within less than an hour's drive, you can reach Versilia with its beaches, the famous marble quarries of Carrara, Lunigiana with its castles and medieval villages, Pisa with its iconic Leaning Tower, Lucca with its Renaissance walls, and the Genoa Aquarium, one of the largest in Europe. The location is also perfect for hiking and nature enthusiasts, thanks to the numerous trails and scenic routes winding through hills, forests, and coastal views.

The mild climate, diverse landscapes, and rich culinary offerings make this area ideal for a vacation that combines relaxation, discovery, and authentic flavors throughout the year.
