We had a wonderful stay at Pernambucco with a great host, just 15 minutes walk from the center of Finalborgo and 30 minutes walk to main climbing areas. We'll be back. Also, Giovanni is a mountain guide and he gave us very useful advice.

Excellent accommodation located in an ideally isolated and relaxing spot. Perfect for spending a few days as a couple to disconnect. Very close to Finalborgo's old medieval town (2 min) and near the beaches of Finale Ligure and Noli (10 min). The treatment from the host was super good, very attentive and charming at all times. We rented the Lubna room from Margherita for 1 week. Our lovely private bathroom was located outside the bedroom, right across the corridor. Since the other rooms include the bathroom, you rarely meet anyone along the corridor, so it made no difference to us to have the bathroom outside the room.\n\nThe whole house is very lovingly furnished, we immediately felt very comfortable. You have the possibility to use the kitchen for self-brought food, including microwave, kettle and fridge. Margherita provides dishes, vinegar, and oil.\n\nThe breakfast was very tasty, with homemade bread, homemade jams, and cakes. It was served to us on the large terrace with the wonderful view.\n\nEverything was very clean and well-kept.\n\nFor us, the quiet location near Finalborgo was very ideal. You can reach the village in about 15 minutes on foot or in 5 minutes by bike. We could safely store the bikes at Margherita's.\n\nFrom Finalborgo, there are buses serving the region. Recently, a Tourist Card is available, which allows you to travel by bus for free and get discounts on various entrance fees.\n\nWe were able to leave our car, which was of great benefit given the scarcity of parking in the city.\n\nMargherita is a great host and provided us with excellent information on all questions regarding the region, restaurants, hikes, etc.\n\nDear Margherita, thank you very much!

A truly authentic area of Finalborgo. We love the vegetable gardens along Via Aquilla. The rooms at the B&B are well thought out and beautifully furnished. The downside is that you can hear well what is being said in the next room. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace is very cozy and delicious. Very good bread. Margherita is a very nice, charming host. Thank you.

Immersed in nature and peaceful, a 10-minute walk from Finalborgo, 5 minutes by car to reach the sea. We appreciated the clean rooms, furnished with great taste, quiet and comfortable. Very pleasant the ancient Roman road that in 10 minutes on foot leads to Finalborgo. The owner, a kind and helpful person, prepared for us a very good breakfast with natural and tasty products, homemade bread and jams, and also gluten-free options for a celiac person! We will definitely come back, to climb together with the owner (mountain guide) the famous cliffs in the area. Thank you for the passion and commitment you put into this place!

We booked this property following previous reviews but unfortunately many things need to be revised. It is not easy to find it because the signage to reach it consists of 2 small signs almost near the arrival. The owner is kind and helpful but... Understanding that in Liguria the spaces are not very wide, the idea of an old renovated house fascinated us but the room for 4 is really small with the main double bed on the loft and a sofa bed on the ground floor that when opened (as necessary for us in 4) minimizes the spaces. The sofa bed then has an uncomfortable mattress. Spartan furnishings with only recovery of vintage furniture and accessories, with an exaltation of mirrors... 4-5 in our room, a few photos or paintings alternatively would not be out of place. Heat pump heating with a lot of heat on the loft and cold at the bottom (it took a moment to adjust the temperatures), not facilitated by the only window still with single glass and therefore not insulated. The problem with this property is the organization that at first glance is made up of many small denials: - do not close the door by turning the entrance latch because otherwise the door locks; - do not go up to the loft with shoes; - hot water is not always guaranteed due to the size of the water heater; and breakfast: - we do not make cappuccino; - there is no savory option (but it is offered to other guests at the table next to ours); - basic products (dairy or yogurt) are not displayed... you have to ask... but is it correct? Breakfast is good but scarce (one day cake, one day croissants)... and yogurt no longer offered only on request, 4 oranges and no other fruit... good homemade jams but even those on the second day need to be requested. Displaying what is offered would be the minimum. Adjacent terrace (which would be the added value) bare and dirty. Either they were already in imminent annual closure mode or need to be reorganized with the minimum hospitality rules, we are sorry.

Leggendo quanto da lei riportato appare tuttavia evidente che prima di prenotare il nostro b&b non avete letto con attenzione le descrizioni sulla nostra pagina di quanto da noi offerto, né la risposta che abbiamo dato alla vostra prima richiesta di prenotazione, dove sottolineiamo chiaramente le caratteristiche della nostra struttura. Vede, lo spirito con il quale è nato il Pernambucco, che abbiamo voluto lasciare il più possibile come era, una casa contadina con arredi semplici ed essenziali, può non piacere a tutti, ed è per questo che da sempre descriviamo la nostra struttura con totale trasparenza. Anche la colazione che lei critica con grande disappunto viene descritta dettagliatamente sulla nostra pagina. Da sempre proponiamo e serviamo al tavolo una prima colazione italiana con prodotti freschissimi, pane appena sfornato con burro e marmellate così come torta o croissant, oltre a yogurt, latte, caffè, té e in periodo invernale le arance Pernambucco che raccogliamo nel nostro orto, dove crescono senza l'uso di alcun prodotto chimico e che vengono spremute al momento. I nostri agrumi restano a disposizione degli ospiti durante la giornata come té, caffè e tisane. Noi non proponiamo il classico buffet con esposizione di prodotti dolci e salati. Tuttavia, come ho fatto anche con voi al vostro arrivo, è sempre nostra premura chiedere agli ospiti se hanno qualche esigenza particolare per la colazione, e nel caso facciamo in modo di soddisfarla. Tanto è vero che alla vostra esplicita richiesta (non all’arrivo ma il giorno dopo durante la vostra prima colazione) di un toast con prosciutto, mi sono organizzata per potervelo offrire il giorno seguente, come potrà confermarle sua moglie alla quale ho offerto di prepararglielo, e che però poi non ha voluto. E’ vero noi offriamo il caffelatte ma non il cappuccino, il caffè fatto con la moka ma non l’espresso. E’ una scelta, è una colazione volutamente casalinga, senza macchine, senza cialde e senza grandi sprechi. Il portoncino di ingresso d’epoca richiede una minima attenzione nella chiusura, e questo viene spiegato agli ospiti in arrivo, così come preghiamo di non salire con le scarpe sui soppalchi in legno bianco tinto con pigmenti naturali che sono atossici ma più delicati dei colori chimici. Come già spieghiamo agli ospiti prima della loro conferma sulla nostra pagina, non è stato possibile portare il gas al Pernambucco, quindi utilizziamo 2 pannelli solari e un grosso boiler. Di conseguenza è necessario avere un minimo di attenzione nel fare la doccia per evitare un uso eccessivo di acqua calda. Non sono negazioni, sono piccole attenzioni che preghiamo gli ospiti di avere durante il loro soggiorno. La terrazza viene chiusa in periodo invernale e riaperta in primavera quando le temperature ne consentono di nuovo l’utilizzo, quindi viene ripulita a tempo debito. Fortunatamente le nostre scelte vengono solitamente apprezzate dai nostri ospiti, ma gusti, esigenze e priorità non sono le stesse per tutti. Per concludere, sebbene come detto prima il nostro b&b venga già presentato sulla nostra pagina per quello che è, non possiamo che esprimerle il nostro dispiacere per non avervi soddisfatti, e al contempo rinnovarle la nostra gratitudine per aver sottolineato con tutte le sue critiche come la nostra struttura e la nostra offerta possano risultare, per alcuni, totalmente inadatte ad un loro eventuale soggiorno.

Structure with an excellent value for money, difficult to reach from the parking area if one has leg problems. Excellent cleanliness. Our loft room was equipped with air conditioning with the private bathroom just outside the door, which does not create any problems. The abundant breakfast served on the panoramic terrace, weather permitting, is homemade with products like jams made by the owner, a friendly and kind person, who contacted us even before our arrival to give us the correct directions to reach the structure. Overall, my judgment can only be very positive.

This Bed & Breakfast is located in a quiet countryside area, well-maintained and clean, with a large terrace to relax and enjoy breakfast. The room was very nice, with excellent cleanliness and provided with everything needed. In the common area, you can store your own food in the fridge and use the kitchen to heat up ready meals or for relaxing breaks. The most appreciated aspect was Mrs. Margherita, who welcomed us making us feel at home and pampering us with excellent, rich and delicious homemade breakfasts. Very kind and helpful, highly appreciated. I recommend it for those seeking relaxation or wanting to go on hill trips, but it's also just a few minutes away from the sea. Thank you Margherita!

B&B nestled in the inland of Finalborgo, panoramic position overlooking the valley, enjoyable from the beautiful terrace where the excellent breakfast is served: homemade jams, wonderful cakes, and croissants. Excellent value for money. The owner Margherita is an exquisite person, very kind, super helpful and extremely attentive to the anti-Covid regulations of this delicate period. In about 15 minutes on foot, you can reach the center of Finalborgo and the bus stop (terminus) that goes to Savona, convenient to go down to the promenade and visit the neighboring towns (Varigotti and Noli). Highly recommended, we will definitely come back.

We stayed for two nights at the property, our stay was truly amazing. Place immersed in the countryside of Finalborgo, a short walk from the center. A place to find peace. Mrs. Margherita fantastic, made us feel at home. The breakfast abundant and very good, given that most of it is produced by them. The rooms simple, with a taste of the past, but very beautiful and clean. I absolutely recommend it to those who want to detach from the frenzy of everyday life.

We stayed at this B&B for a mountain biking vacation. Margherita was very kind in offering us a garage for our bikes and in meeting all our needs! Not having found a place to dine on New Year's Eve, she allowed us to use the shared kitchen area. The area is quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by greenery, a 10-minute walk from the center of Finalborgo. The B&B is very well-kept and the breakfast couldn't have been better. Highly recommended!

Excellent facility. Excellent service. Very friendly and polite managers. Excellent management of the structure. The rooms could use a few more square meters. It is preferable to stay in the less cold seasons. Very quiet and relaxing area for walks and many other activities. Not very easy to find for traditional navigators and due to the traffic in Finale, it might be useful to ask for directions before arrival. Beautiful view even though it's in the valley. Overall very good.

Thank you again for the friendliness, advice, and attention that Mrs. Margherita has given us. The furnishing is essential yet pleasant, sometimes at the expense of functionality. Note of attention: the Lubna loft room has a double bed without a frame, consisting of two single mattresses resting on the underlying wooden planking. This solution may not be appreciated by everyone as the bed is very firm.

I letti delle nostre due camere soppalcate, come può leggere sul nostro sito, sono formati da reti totalmente in eco- legno, appositamente studiate per accogliere i nostri materassi futon in cotone e fibra di cocco. Sono molto apprezzati da coloro che amano materassi naturali e di maggior sostegno, ma sicuramente meno da chi preferisce materassi più tradizionali e più morbidi. Speriamo che questa caratteristica non vi abbia tuttavia impedito di apprezzare il soggiorno presso la nostra struttura. Un cordiale saluto a lei e alla signora Tina!

I discovered this bucolic retreat three years ago and fell madly in love with it: the silence, the croaking of frogs in the evening, the freshness on the terrace, the lights of Castel Govone, the scent of freshly washed sheets, the pleasure of feeling "at home". A special mention for the meticulously prepared breakfast, served with grace by the splendid Margherita, with whom it's always a pleasure to linger for a chat, whose exquisite taste has made a small building immersed in greenery special.

Quiet and immersed in greenery, a 10-minute walk from Finalborgo, a perfect post-dinner walk accompanied by the suggestive croaking of frogs and the flowing of the stream. Ideal for climbing in the surroundings, also considering the excellent advice from the alpine guide manager. Cinzia was very nice and helpful, taking care of us every morning by preparing breakfast!

Ottima posizione tra mare e monti, gentilissimi e attentissimi i gestori, peccato non aver potuto proseguire la sosta per motivi di lavoro, torneremo per fare altre escursioni perché è sicuramente un punto di appoggio ideale.

Bellissimo B&B, è nella tranquillità proprio dietro Finalborgo. Dalla terrazza dove si ha la piccola colazione si gode di un bellissimo panorama.

Il luogo è semplicemente una perla nella valle Aquila, dove la tranquillità e la quiete fanno da padrone, un angolo di paradiso dove ritrovare il bello che la natura offre. Le colazioni di Margherita sono un ritorno alle origini (non ci si vorrebbe alzare dal tavolo). Camere confortevoli e pulite, ci siamo trovati benissimo e presto torneremo! Anche Achille (il cane) ringrazia per l'ospitalità! A presto Luca e Valeria.

Le vacanze di quest'anno son state assai brevi, il meteo non è stato dei migliori ma il tutto è stato compensato dall'ottima qualità del B&B dove una gentile e molto disponibile accoglienza, ricche colazioni sul terrazzo e fascino della struttura ha reso il nostro fine settimana rilassante e confortevole.
