9 Muse

The 9 Muse (“Nine Muses”) Bed and Breakfast is in Canneto sull’Oglio (Mantova), a privileged and strategic location: within the green landscapes of the Parco Oglio Sud (South Oglio River Park), this is an excellent starting point to visit towns and cities rich in art, as well as to reach and enjoy natural sites and leisure parks.

Created in a country home originally built at the beginning of the 20th century, now carefully restored, this Bed and Breakfast delights its guests with a family atmosphere, surrounding them with the cosy feeling of brickwork, stone and timber.

Double rooms are available, located on a separate floor. Each one has comfortable wooden framed beds with orthopaedic mattresses, bathroom with shower, private terrace, wi-fi, television set, and independent and adjustable air conditioning and heating. Each room has the name of a Muse, with original furniture of the past century and paintings from major contemporary artists.

The breakfast, which is varied and generous, includes rusks, milk, fruit juice, coffee, tea, tisane, and yoghurt, as well as cakes, biscuits and home-made jams; it is served on the ground floor in the large dining room with fireplace. A microwave oven and a refrigerator are always available for our guests.

Special care is devoted to the preparation of the breakfast for our guests suffering from coeliac disease: 9 Muse Bed and Breakfast is part of the “While not eating at home” project sponsored by the Italian Association for Coeliac disease (AIC).

Coeliacs can relax enjoying gluten-free foods clearly marked with the “Crossed Ear-of-Wheat Brand” and / or listed in the AIC Book of Foods.

9 Muse bed and breakfast has been set up in co-operation with GAL, Group of Local Action Oglio-Po Terre d’Acqua, and this project has been co-financed by the European Union.
