The Agriturismo I Gelsi is situated in a beautiful hilly area in Brianza, a green corner of Lombardy that invites exploration of its colors, scents, and flavors. Raffaella and Liliana will welcome you with local traditional dishes made from farm-fresh, zero-kilometer ingredients, and provide a family-like atmosphere that makes every stay unique.

The establishment, a 17th-century farmhouse, has been skillfully renovated to preserve its historical features while incorporating modern comforts. Locally known as “la Bësa,” the farmhouse was already listed in Maria Theresa of Austria's land registry as “cascina Guzzafame” and hosted silk worm farming until the years between the two World Wars. A reminder of this history is the large white mulberry tree that offers shade for ping-pong during the summer.

The agriturismo features rooms and mini-apartments perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, with the option to book a Bed & Breakfast arrangement. Each room serves as a serene haven, opening onto a natural balcony that provides a charming view of the surrounding countryside.

The agriturismo's restaurant offers modern interpretations of traditional Lombard dishes, crafted from fresh ingredients sourced from the farm and other local producers in the Terrealte Consortium. The seasonal and inclusive cuisine is designed to meet various dietary needs. The menus are created to highlight the local flavors, using only fresh and genuine products.

Additionally, the agriturismo has a shop where, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, you can purchase fresh fruits and vegetables, homemade preserves, juices, and jams.

For those seeking a relaxing experience or wishing to blend work with nature, I Gelsi also provides ideal spaces for remote working, complete with Wi-Fi and expansive green areas ensuring peace and tranquility. It is also the perfect venue for organizing courses and meetings, featuring two interconnected rooms, outdoor spaces, a large portico, and a wooden-floored gym.

Start your day with a delightful breakfast featuring coffee or tea, fresh milk, crusty bread, butter, homemade cakes, jams, and fruit juices made from our carefully selected fruits by Liliana. Upon request, we also provide savory breakfasts with local specialties, such as Brianzolo salami and goat or cow cheeses sourced from farms in our region.

Our culinary offerings are inspired by the local area, showcasing traditional products and dishes from the Lombard region, enhanced with a touch of creativity to create simple yet flavorful cuisine. It’s perfect for a lunch or dinner surrounded by greenery, making it an ideal choice for celebrating any special occasion with taste and joy.

We use fresh, homegrown ingredients, crafting menus that change with the seasons and daily harvests from our gardens and orchards, as well as from other farms in the Terrealte Consortium.
