Nestled in the valley where Valtellina meets Valchiavenna, the B&B L'Isola derives its name from its unique geographic location: it was once situated at the heart of the natural flow of the Adda River, before the banks were constructed. We are located in the municipality of Piantedo, at the southwestern tip of Valtellina, just 5 km from the famous Lake Como and close to numerous natural and cultural attractions.

The location is perfect for exploring sites of great interest, such as the Pian di Spagna Nature Reserve and Lake Mezzola, the Forte di Fuentes, or for embarking on trekking routes in the beautiful Valmasino and Bitto Valleys. Those who appreciate history and culture can visit the charming town of Chiavenna or travel to the renowned St. Moritz in Switzerland. During the winter months, nearby ski resorts in Madesimo and Valgerola provide plenty of opportunities for snow sports, while in summer, the bike path just steps from the B&B invites relaxing rides.

During their stay, guests can enjoy unique experiences, such as:
