Hello, I'm Eleanor! In the past, I was a mathematics teacher in Glasgow, but since 1988, I have made my home on the beautiful shores of Lake Como with my Italian husband, Adriano. After spending a few years in this charming house above Menaggio, we decided to open a Bed and Breakfast. Thus, Balcone Fiorito was born, thanks in part to Adriano's invaluable support. Together with my son David, we are dedicated to making your stay unforgettable. David's extensive knowledge of the area will surely enhance your holiday experience!

We are easily accessible from cities like Lugano, Milan, Bergamo, and St. Moritz. From Menaggio, you can take boats, ferries, and buses that allow you to explore the beautiful villas, enchanting gardens, historic churches, and charming villages that line the shores of the lake. Boat and kayak rentals are available directly in Menaggio. In our picturesque village of Croce, you will find the prestigious Cadenabbia golf course, a padel court, and a pump track.
