Cancellation conditions (except for non-refundable rates)

The penalty varies depending on the time of cancellation
- from time of booking to 6 days before the check-in date, no penalty is charged;
- from 5 to 3 days before the check-in date, you will be charged a penalty of 50% of the total cost of the booking;
- from 2 to 1 days before the check-in date, you will be charged a penalty of 75% of the total cost of the booking;
- A penalty of 100% of the entire cost of the stay is applied for failure to show or cancellation on day of arrival;

For non-refundable discounted rates, when the facility requires it, the guest must pay in advance as indicated to complete the booking. Payment is not refunded in the event of a cancellation.

We loved our stay at this BnB and are so sad we couldn't stay longer than 1 night! Eleanor and her family were very welcoming and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great and the view is ridiculously beautiful - we were lucky enough to have good weather so we had the generous breakfast out on the balcony which was a lovely way to say goodbye to the property. If we returned we would 100% come back!

It's the small details that make your stay memorable: coffee and tea offered when you arrive weary, a hostess and her son who welcome you like family and take the time to engage with you, guidance to places you would have missed, like nearby trenches dug in WWI and a fabulous hilltop restaurant you never would have found on your own. Yes, Balcone Fiorito also provides comfortable rooms, easy parking, breakfast with fresh baked treats on a lovely garden terrace that frames a spectacular lake view. All of these amenities at a reasonable price should make this B&B your first choice for a stay in Menaggio. I simply cannot say enough for Eleanor and David's hospitality. They welcomed three generations of my family, ranging in age from 5 to 80, and made us feel at home. Other guests were clearly relaxed and enjoying themselves, making the atmosphere all the more pleasant. I hope to return someday.

My family and I stayed in a two bedroom accommodation with just the most amazing view of the local village of Croce and beautiful Lake Como. Our hostess Eleanor and her son were wonderful - very personable, friendly and always on hand. We were spoilt at breakfast with Eleanor`s homemade pancakes, cakes and breads. Eleanor`s son was also on hand to provide good local insight. It was a pleasure to stay and I would recommend to anyone - couples and families alike.

Amazing location overlooking the lake Como. We had a wonderful time staying at this place. The host suggested and reserved restaurant within 10 mins drive which had great food and view of the lake Como. Family rooms were spacious and very clean.

Un accueil tres sympathique et chaleureux. Une chambre impeccable et une décoration très soignée. Mais il faut impérativement une voiture car sur les hauteurs de la ville. Je commande vivement pour le cadre et la gentillesse de la famille.

Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Grande gentillesse de la Propriétaire. Accès un peu difficile car éloigné du centre à 3 kms, obligés de prendre la voiture pour dîner.

Excellent accueil d’Eleanor et David; Chambre spacieuse, très confortable et très propre; jardin très fleuri comme l'indique le nom du site. Une très belle vue sur le lac et la ville de Menaggio en contrebas. On prend le petit déjeuner dehors sur la terrasse face au lac si le temps le permet. Situé à Croce à 3km environ du centre ville, pas de problème de stationnement. A recommander absolument.

Notre séjour à la chambre d'hotes "balcone fiorito" a été très agréable. Tout fut parfait du début à la fin. Accueil parfait, chambre agréable et spacieuse. Les petits déjeuners sont excellents et changent tous les jours. La vue de la terrasse est exceptionnelle. Nos hôtes, Eléanor et sa famille ont été d'une grande gentillesse. On avait le sentiment de faire un peu partie de la famille. Bref, n'hésitez pas à découvrir ce petit coin de paradis.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit wundervollem Blick auf den Comer See oberhalb des Ortes! Die Eigentümer sind sehr nett und bemüht und versorgen einen mit hilfreichen Tipps, sowie Restaurantreservierungen! Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig - zusätzlich mit etwas selbst gebackenem.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in toller Lage mit einem wunderbaren italienischen Garten. Auch die freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberein hat uns Lust auf Italien gemacht. Der Internetauftritt wird voll und ganz bestätigt.

Soggiornato una notte, struttura bella in posizione molto tranquilla e con una vista panoramica sul lago davvero incantevole. Camere curate e molto pulite. La signora Eleanor è gentilissima e disponibilissima e la colazione che serve sul terrazzo/giardino vista lago è davvero fantastica e per tutti i gusti. Struttura consigliatissima.

La signora Eleanor è una persona davvero squisita, gentile, che prepara ogni giorno un dolce fatto in casa per la colazione. Ci ha poi trattato come se fossimo della famiglia, in un B&B immerso nel verde e con una vista fantastica sul lago di Como. Consiglio assolutamente.
