Just a few minutes from Lake Maggiore and 15 km from Malpensa Airport, it serves as an ideal refuge for those seeking tranquility, nature, and comfort away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The apartment, located on the first floor of the guest house, is tastefully decorated and can accommodate up to five guests. It features a kitchenette, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi, while the spacious veranda overlooking the hills is perfect for unwinding with a morning coffee or enjoying a glass of wine at sunset. Parking is available just 30 meters from the property.

The owner, Miranda, lives in the house across the street and is always available to provide advice and recommendations. Shops, restaurants, and local specialty products are within a short distance.

Despite the cozy atmosphere of the village of Cuirone, the location is strategic: in just a few minutes by car, you can reach Vergiate and Sesto Calende, where direct trains to Milan depart. The surrounding area offers pre-Alpine trails, lakes, and the Ticino River, along with historic cities such as Varese and the charming towns around Lake Maggiore.

Hey, I'm Miranda

My name is Miranda, and I have always had a passion for good food, culture, and sharing experiences. For generations, Cuirone has been the vacation spot for my husband Giorgio's family, and it is here that we decided to move from Milan, purchasing a truly unique home that we have carefully maintained over the years. In 1987, together with Giorgio, we established a cultural association aimed at preserving the memory and history of Cuirone. Although we never had children, our home has always been a welcoming space filled with grandchildren, friends, and loved ones. Giorgio had his studio here, and right above it, he created Baubaus House—a name that originated from a playful idea and a long artistic journey shared with friends. After he passed away, I converted his studio into an archive of his work and the association, which occasionally showcases the pieces of other artists, thus keeping his generous spirit alive. I have chosen to rent out Baubaus House because I enjoy meeting new people who appreciate the simplicity and beauty of this area. I would be delighted to welcome you and, if you wish, share the story of this special place, perhaps over a nice glass of wine.
