B&B Baita de Eliseo

The Baita de Eliseo is located just 2 km from the center of Bormio, nestled in the stunning landscape of the Stelvio National Park in the heart of the Central Alps. This location makes it perfect for any season: in summer, it serves as a starting point for hikes and bike rides along the famous Alpine passes of Stelvio, Mortirolo, and Gavia, as well as to the Cancano lakes; in winter, it is an ideal retreat for those who love skiing, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing.

Managed with passion by Eliseo, Angela, and Elena, the establishment welcomes guests into a family-oriented environment, carefully attended to and dedicated to tranquility. Eliseo, a retired chef, bakes homemade cakes and desserts; Angela focuses on making jams from the fruits of their own garden; Elena takes care of the welcoming process and closely follows every aspect of the stay. Guests feel as though they are being hosted by genuine friends who are eager to offer tips on hikes, places to visit, and traditional restaurants.

The rooms, each unique and inspired by the beloved surrounding mountains, are decorated in a way that respects tradition and designed to provide rest after a day outdoors. The large garden, equipped with deck chairs, a wooden gazebo, and a picnic table, invites relaxation during the beautiful season. Private parking, ski and bike storage, and a coin-operated washing machine with all necessary laundry supplies are also available.

During the deer mating season between September and October, Eliseo takes guests on nighttime excursions to listen to the roaring in the woods—an intense and immersive experience that should be enjoyed quietly and with respect for nature.

Among the additional services, guests can benefit from partnerships with the restaurant "Al Filò," located in an old stable in the historic center of Bormio, with "Il Salumaio" for purchasing local specialties such as Valtellina Bresaola, and with the wellness center "Beauty Flowers" for moments of relaxation and well-being.

Breakfast, available at any time in the morning directly in the accommodation, is tailored to individual schedules. It includes a selection of fresh, local, and seasonal products, such as homemade cakes, jams, honey, yogurt, cereals, and hot beverages. Upon request, it can be adapted to meet specific dietary needs of the guests.
