Agriturismo Le Fragranze is located in Varzi, a charming village in the mountainous Oltrepò Pavese region, surrounded by lush green hills and captivating natural vistas. This area, situated in the southwestern part of Lombardy, serves as a prime meeting point between several regions, making it easy to access Emilia-Romagna, Piedmont, and, a bit further, Liguria. Its strategic location makes it an ideal base for both discovering local attractions and organizing excursions to nearby areas rich in history, nature, and tradition.
Varzi has excellent public transport connections, with Arfea bus services that allow you to reach Voghera in about half an hour and Milan in just over an hour. For those traveling by car, the main access route is the Provincial Road 461 of Passo del Penice, which runs through the Valle Staffora and links the village to Voghera. The nearest highway toll booths are at Casei Gerola, 36 km away on the A7 Milan-Genoa route, and Voghera, 32 km away on the A21 Turin-Brescia route.
From Milan, the journey involves exiting the A7 motorway at Casei Gerola, continuing towards Voghera, and passing through Rivanazzano Terme and Salice Terme before arriving in Varzi. From Turin or Genoa, drivers take the A21 motorway, exiting at Voghera and continuing along the same path. The route from Piacenza, Brescia, or Bologna also follows the A21 with an exit at Voghera, from where the final destination is easily accessible.
This prime location allows visitors to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside while still having easy access to cities and regions that offer significant historical, cultural, and gastronomic interest.
