Il Posto al Sole B&B was born from the dream of Laura and Silvano, who transformed an old family house into a cozy retreat nestled in the natural beauty of Valtellina, near Teglio. The fully renovated property features four spacious and elegant rooms, furnished with natural materials such as wood and stone, and equipped with private bathrooms that include towels, hairdryers, and complimentary toiletries. There is also an elevator and a room accessible for individuals with disabilities.

Every morning, guests are greeted by the delightful aroma of homemade cakes, pastries, local yogurt, and fresh fruit juices sourced from nearby. Upon request, savory breakfasts can also be enjoyed, prepared with local products and fresh eggs from the family’s “happy chickens.”
The expansive panoramic garden, which is completely accessible, offers stunning views of the valley and the snow-capped peaks of the Orobie and Retiche Alps. It is the perfect spot to relax in the sun or breathe in the fresh air after a day of hiking. The surrounding area provides opportunities for trekking, e-biking, rafting, climbing, fishing, and horseback riding, while in winter, the ski slopes of Prato Valentino, Aprica, Bormio, Livigno, and Valmalenco are easily accessible.

Just fifteen minutes away lies Tirano, the starting point for the famous Bernina Red Train, which travels through breathtaking landscapes to Switzerland. Il Posto al Sole is the ideal destination for those seeking tranquility, authenticity, and genuine hospitality characterized by small gestures and great attentiveness.
