I booked a double room at La Collina B&B for 2 nights and I was very satisfied with the property. Our experience exceeded previous expectations. The owner and his colleague were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, in a unique style with a homely atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious. I think it is the best B&B I have ever stayed in so far. I recommend it for any occasion due to its cleanliness, comfortable rooms, beautiful garden, quiet surroundings, and very good breakfast.

We recently returned from a 12-night stay at the bed and breakfast La Collina in Varese. The rooms are clean, well-appointed with comfortable beds. The hosts, Fabio and Luigi, are extremely welcoming, offering generous breakfasts with homemade cake and homemade jams providing enough fuel for your day. Fabio is especially good at giving advice on the local area, whether you are traveling to Lake Como, Lake Maggiore, or Milan, also providing information on train and bus timetables. Varese to Milan by train takes less than an hour and is reasonably priced. We would not hesitate to recommend La Collina.

This is a B&B that you will want to keep on your favorite list. The house, with a lovely garden, is situated on a hill in a quiet part of the town. It feels like countryside yet you are in the center of Varese within 10 minutes. The rooms have been furnished with taste and care for detail. There is always a home-cooked treat for the typical Italian breakfast. Fabio, the host, is a fellow traveler; he has been everywhere and is great fun to talk to. His English is good. He knows all the good local restaurants.

The place is pleasant, with a superb view. In summer, the garden must be a magnificent haven of peace. The interior is neat, nicely and simply furnished. Everything is impeccably clean. Accueil chaleureux, chambres hyper propres, les propriétaires sont disponibles et à l'écoute, le petit déjeuner est copieux et délicieux!Le B&B se trouve dans un endroit calme, loin des bruits de la ville mais à seulement 10 min de Varese et de la gare. C'est l'endroit idéal pour visiter les lacs, l'Expo de Milan 2015 (1 train toutes les 20 minutes et le parking de la gare coûte 3€/journée) et les villes à côtés. Le jardin est magnifique. Encore un grand MERCI!

Hemos pasado unas estupendas vacaciones en La Collina. Un lugar con encanto, para sentirse como en casa. La casa está llena de detalles y el entorno del jardín es precioso. Se descansa perfectamente, tanto por la comodidad de la habitación como por el silencio del entorno, lejos de carreteras principales. Nos ha gustado mucho que no se fume porque el olor de la casa, el ropero, el baño, son muy agradables. El desayuno en la terraza es de lo más coqueto, con todos los productos muy bien escogidos. Pero lo mejor, sin duda, es el trato personal que reciben los huéspedes. Fabio y Luigi, un 10 para ellos, por ser tan agradables y cordiales. Estamos deseando regresar a La Collina.

Lovely house on top of a little hill and surrounded by greenery. Extremely clean and tidy both inside and outside. Well-furnished and comfortable room and finally a large bathroom equipped with every comfort. Continental breakfast, prepared outside, with bread, brioches, yogurt, and juices, in addition to the usual hot drinks. The garden is well maintained and full of plants and flowers of countless varieties. Fabio and Luigi are welcoming and friendly hosts. Highly recommended and I also hope to return soon. P.S.: their little beach without sea or lake is unique and lovely.

I booked a night for me and a colleague on the occasion of a conference held in Varese, just over 10 minutes from the B&B. The welcome and kindness of the manager were excellent, the location is a bit outside the city, surrounded by greenery and in a higher position that makes me imagine a particularly cool summer microclimate. Bathroom in the room with hairdryer, wifi, fridge in the room, and very quiet. I will definitely consider it for future stays in Varese.

On the occasion of Easter holidays with my partner and our 2 children, we spent four nights at this B&B. We arrived around 8:00 pm on Thursday evening and Mr. Fabio welcomed us very kindly and quickly took us to our room. The first impression was very positive, we immediately understood that it was a very clean and well-kept place with great attention to detail and above all very discreet. These very first impressions were fully confirmed in the following days. The friendliness of the two owners is definitely worth mentioning, the breakfast delicious, and the garden very beautiful! We stayed at this splendid Bed and Breakfast for two nights between Easter and Easter Monday. It is not the first time we have used similar facilities but this one is truly worth mentioning for the clean scent that welcomes you as soon as you enter, the room and bathroom equipped with every little detail to make the guest feel pampered, the plentiful breakfast served in a room with a view of the garden. The location is strategic to reach Varese in a few minutes by car or take a little trip to the lakes. The availability and passion of Fabio and Luigi are the added value that makes this property worth recommending to those visiting this area.

The structure is surrounded by greenery, in a magnificent location.
