The alle Cinque

The alle Cinque is a bed and breakfast nestled in the peaceful countryside of Pavia, just 4 km from the historic center of Pavia. Born from a passion for tea and hospitality, this B&B welcomes guests into a charming little farmhouse, where every area is designed to convey a sense of harmony and freedom.

The architecture of the house is distinctive and captivating: the wooden ceilings, painted in black or blue, create an enchanting atmosphere, while the living room opens up to a spacious area that is ten meters high. An iron walkway connects the television and library area to the billiard room and sleeping quarters, providing a unique perspective on the home’s spaces. Outside, the garden and porch are ideal for enjoying the surrounding tranquility, with roses blooming in May and hydrangeas flowering in June.

The establishment offers three accommodation options: two double rooms accessible via a uniquely charming hallway, and a two-room apartment with independent access from the garden. Each room can accommodate a child’s bed or, in some cases, an extra single bed. Breakfast is included in the price, but for those who prefer, there is an option for just accommodation with a discount of 5 euros per couple.

Here, peace and quiet reign, interrupted only by the sounds of nature: Lola the dog barking at the blackbirds, the dove nesting above the breakfast table, and the notes of Satie floating through the air, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere even further.

The location of The alle Cinque is perfect for exploring Pavia, a university town rich in history and architecture, and for reaching various points of interest. The Certosa di Pavia, one of the masterpieces of the Renaissance, is easily accessible by bike or car. Just a twenty-minute drive away lies the Strada dei Vini dell’Oltrepò, where visitors can taste the famous Varzi salami and the fine sparkling wines of the region. Nature lovers can immerse themselves in the landscapes of the Vernavola and Ticino parks, which are perfect for relaxing walks.

Guests are warmly welcomed and engaged in a friendly atmosphere filled with music, books, and stories.
