Here, amid ancient springs of clear water, meadows, and forests, time appears to flow at a more leisurely pace, providing a perfect retreat for those seeking tranquility and a connection with nature.

Ideal for hiking enthusiasts, the area features trails of varying difficulty and walks surrounded by greenery. Climbing fans can try their skills at the natural climbing areas of Fosso dell’Eremo and Rio Vitoschio. A short drive away, one can explore cities rich in history and art such as Urbino, Gubbio, and Città di Castello.

To reach Villa Taddea, take the Provincial Road of Rocca Leonella to Baciardi, where you will continue on foot for 250 meters into the village. Comfortable shoes are recommended, and a spirit of adventure is guaranteed.

My name is Giusi, and I am a graphic designer. I have a deep passion for tranquility and for taking walks in nature, always accompanied by my loyal friend Birba. This is why I chose to move to this charming little mountain village. Since 2005, I have been living in Villa Taddea, and in 2008, I decided to open my home to visitors in what was once the school of the picturesque village of Bacciardi, up until the early 1970s.

Villa Taddea is situated in the Marche region, in the province of Pesaro and Urbino, at an elevation of 550 meters, right in the heart of Monte Nerone (1525 m). This majestic mountain marks the beginning of the central-southern Apennines, offering breathtaking landscapes that transform with the seasons: blooming meadows in spring, cool wooded valleys in summer, endless vistas in autumn, and snow in winter.

The location is perfect for discovering artistic cities and historic towns: Urbino (42 km), Gubbio (45 km), and Città di Castello (25 km) can be easily reached by car. Florence is 150 km away.

**How to Reach Us**
By car, from Fano, take the A14 to the Fano exit, then follow the E78 towards Rome until you reach the Acqualagna-Piobbico-Città di Castello exit. After 16 km, upon passing the Piobbico sign, turn left towards Rocca Leonella and continue for 4.1 km.
From Rome, Perugia, or Gubbio, exit at Cagli Ovest on the E78, continue towards Secchiano-Pietralunga, then turn right towards Piobbico and drive for 8.4 km.

For those traveling by train, the nearest station is Fano for travelers coming from Bologna or Ancona, while those arriving from Rome can reach Fossato di Vico, where shuttle service is available upon request.

For air travelers, connections are available from the airports of Ancona (130 km), Rimini (120 km), Forlì (160 km), and Bologna (220 km), with options for shuttle service or car rentals.
