Al Vecchio Torchio

Area Campagna

The area of Torredaniele, a district of Settimo Vittone, is situated in the heart of Canavese, at the northernmost edge of Piedmont, where the gentle pre-Alpine hills meet the plains. Here, the landscape features terraced vineyards, lush forests, and unspoiled rural views, creating an ideal setting for those seeking peace, nature, and history. The air is fresh, the pace of life is slow, and every corner tells the story of a region still deeply connected to its agricultural roots.

Not far away, the Via Francigena winds through historic villages and significant cultural sites, such as the Pieve di San Lorenzo, a small Romanesque gem nestled in greenery, which attracts hikers and lovers of sacred art. A little further on is the La Turna cliff, a natural rock face popular among climbers, as well as those who simply wish to stroll along the scenic trails in the area.

Settimo Vittone is also just a few kilometers from the Aosta Valley and can be easily accessed via the A5 motorway. Its strategic location makes it an excellent starting point for exploring not only the alpine valleys but also the hills of Canavese, with their castles, local markets, wineries, and festivals that celebrate the region's flavors.

This is a land that retains an authentic spirit, where hospitality is simple and warm, and where each season brings unique colors, scents, and atmospheres.
