In the heart of Cossogno, a quaint hilltop village just ten minutes from Lake Maggiore and adjacent to the Val Grande National Park, our bed and breakfast welcomes guests in an authentic, family-oriented atmosphere immersed in nature. Here, the silence and tranquility of the mountains envelop every stay, providing moments of peace and wellness. The wooden-finished rooms evoke the warmth of traditional alpine homes and offer spaces designed for relaxation and comfort.

The property spans three levels: on the ground floor, we live, Rosy and Massimo. On the first floor is the Lucy Room, a charming two-room apartment with a kitchenette, refrigerator, and a cozy dining area, featuring a large terrace equipped with a table, chairs, and an umbrella. On the upper level, the Sunflower Room is a spacious attic spread over two levels, complete with a small lounge, private bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, electric coffee pot, and a wooden balcony overlooking the valley, perfect for outdoor breakfasts or peaceful moments amidst the sounds of nature.

Every morning, we serve a rich and carefully prepared breakfast, featuring homemade products and high-quality ingredients, with a focus on organic options. For those interested, a savory breakfast is also available for a small additional fee. Breakfast is served directly in the room to ensure comfort and privacy.

We love to share our passion for the mountains, hiking, nature excursions, and, why not, a bit of yoga with our guests. Rosy, a vegetarian and massage therapist, is often happy to provide relaxing treatments, while Massimo enthusiastically handles the organization and hospitality. Our hospitality is simple and genuine, stemming from a lifestyle choice that has brought us back to the essentials.

Staying here means choosing a place to slow down, breathe deeply, discover paths and lakes, visit Verbania and the Borromean Islands, be guided in exploring the area, or simply rest while listening to the sounds of the forest and being pampered by warm and sincere hospitality.

Each morning, we carefully prepare a diverse and generous selection, focusing on homemade products and high-quality ingredients, often organic. We offer hot beverages such as coffee, tea, and milk, accompanied by fresh bread, butter, jams, pastries, yogurt, fruit, and cookies.

Upon request, we can also provide a savory breakfast featuring omelets, cheeses, cold cuts, and flatbreads, available for a small additional charge. Breakfast is served directly in your room or in private outdoor spaces, ensuring relaxation and intimacy, with the option to arrange the timing according to our guests' needs. It's a simple and wholesome way to start the day right.

Here, the road truly ends: there are no passing cars, only silence broken by the sounds of nature. This prime location, just ten minutes from Verbania and Lake Maggiore, allows for a perfect blend of relaxation and exploration of the area.

Nestled at the edge of the Val Grande National Park, the region is ideal for those who enjoy hiking and outdoor excursions. Trails begin right from the village, offering routes for all levels, from more challenging paths within the park to gentler walks suitable for families and leisurely walkers. For those who prefer to discover the beauty of the lake, Verbania features botanical gardens such as Villa Taranto, elegant lakeside promenades, and boats for visiting the Borromean Islands or embarking on mini cruises.

Within a few kilometers, you can also find Lake Mergozzo, Lake Orta, the hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso, and many charming villages rich in history and allure. The area is also perfect for cycling enthusiasts, thanks to numerous scenic and natural routes. Cossogno serves as an excellent starting point to experience an authentic adventure between the lake and the mountains, embodying tranquility and beauty.
