In 2006, we made the decision to open our home to the public during the Winter Olympics in Turin. Franca inherited Cascina Paraccia from her father, along with a deep passion for the countryside and a lifestyle in harmony with the rhythms of nature. Our days are spent tending to the garden and orchard, where we grow organic produce, particularly for making our delicious jams, which you will have the chance to enjoy at breakfast. We are attentive to our guests' needs, always approaching them with respect and discretion.

Cascina Paraccia is located just 1.5 km from the center of Villarbasse, a peaceful village that provides essential services such as shops, restaurants, and a pharmacy. Its strategic location offers the tranquility of the countryside while still being close to all necessary amenities.

### Getting Around and Points of Interest

Due to its proximity to Turin, the farm serves as an excellent starting point for exploring the city’s rich historical and cultural heritage. In less than half an hour by car, you can visit iconic sites such as the Mole Antonelliana, which houses the National Cinema Museum, the Egyptian Museum—ranked second in the world in terms of importance after the one in Cairo—and the elegant Savoy Residences, which showcase the splendor of the Piedmont royal dynasty.

Nearby, don’t miss the Reggia di Venaria, one of the most magnificent baroque complexes in Europe, the Rivoli Castle, home to the Contemporary Art Museum, and the Sacra di San Michele, an impressive abbey perched on a rock, a symbol of Piedmont and an inspiration for Umberto Eco's famous novel, The Name of the Rose.

On an international level, Cascina Paraccia is situated along the Geoalpina Trail - Route 17, a path that traverses the most significant geological landscapes of the Alpine arch, allowing visitors to discover the natural history of the region through guided excursions and geological points of interest.
