Welcome to B&B Il Martinetto, a countryside retreat nestled in the greenery of Valtriversa, amidst the gentle hills of Monferrato. Here, Giorgia, an architect, and her family have fulfilled their dream of living in harmony with nature while still enjoying the conveniences of a nearby town. The establishment, dating back to the mid-1800s, boasts a rich history: once a farmhouse and blacksmith's workshop, it served as a community landmark. Today, following a careful renovation, it retains its original rustic charm, enhanced by modern and functional design elements.

The B&B welcomes couples, families, and even furry friends, with dedicated spaces for a peaceful and comfortable stay. Each room is uniquely designed, inspired by the surrounding natural elements, and features a private bathroom and independent entrance to ensure privacy and tranquility. In the morning, a sweet Italian breakfast with local specialties is served.

The location is perfect for exploring the lower Piedmont and its attractions: Asti with its Palio and culinary delights, Turin with its palaces and museums, the Langhe and Roero known for their wines and truffles, and Monferrato filled with historic villages and UNESCO landscapes. The area offers trails for hiking or biking, along with charming Romanesque churches like San Secondo di Mongiglietto. Also nearby are the Campo Volo for sports flights and the picturesque Christmas markets between Langhe and Monferrato.

Il Martinetto is a place where history, nature, and hospitality come together, creating an authentic experience of relaxation and discovery.

Area Campagna

The area surrounding the B&B Il Martinetto is a genuine corner of Piedmont, nestled in the nature of Valtriversa and framed by the hills of Monferrato. This landscape, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is characterized by gentle undulations, well-kept vineyards, cultivated fields, and small historic villages that preserve centuries-old traditions.

Outdoor enthusiasts can explore trails that wind through forests and hills, perfect for leisurely walks, trekking, or mountain biking. Nearby, one can find charming Romanesque churches, such as San Secondo di Mongiglietto, and ancient farmhouses that narrate the agrarian history of the region.

Just a few kilometers away, Asti captivates with its medieval towers, baroque palaces, and exceptional culinary offerings, while Turin, half an hour away, showcases the elegance of its squares, internationally renowned museums, and the vibrant atmosphere of a city rich in cultural events. To the south, the Langhe and Roero regions boast postcard-worthy landscapes and are ideal destinations for those who enjoy tasting renowned wines and discovering the allure of the International White Truffle Fair in Alba.
