You will be welcomed into a serene and relaxing atmosphere, where the understated elegance of a homely environment blends with the scents and rhythms of the countryside, providing moments of true well-being.

Our farmhouse is situated in a quiet pre-hilly area near Lake Maggiore, just a few kilometers from Arona, Lake Orta, and Malpensa Airport. In a short time, you can also reach Milan, Turin, and some of the most beautiful lakeside and mountain locations in Piedmont and Lombardy.

The surrounding area boasts natural parks and attractions for all tastes: from Lagoni Park to the Bosco Solivo Reserve, from the Dormelletto Reeds to the Ticino Park, as well as La Torbiera Wildlife Park and the Safari Zoo Park in Pombia. For a day of shopping or fun, the Vicolungo Outlet and the Ondaland water park are also easily accessible.

In partnership with the Ticino Equestrian Club, we offer the opportunity to participate in horseback riding lessons or enjoy relaxing horseback rides in the area. We would be happy to assist you in planning your excursions by providing informational materials and personalized suggestions to help you make the most of your experience in the region.

Hey, I'm Monia

Since 2008, we have welcomed travelers eager to experience the genuine beauty of our land and the warmth of a lived-in home. We are a family united by a love for nature, for things crafted with care, and for simple yet heartfelt hospitality. Monia, a freelance engineer, and Mario, an economics graduate working for a national insurance company, along with their little Vittorio, have transformed a section of the Cascina dei Cesari into a space where every detail tells a story. Purchased in 2002, the farmhouse has been personally renovated with a focus on tradition and respect for original materials. The ground floor features ancient terracotta tiles in shades of red, pink, and yellow, while the upper level boasts oak wood, reclaimed beams, and finishes carefully selected from markets and salvage centers—each element reflects a passion for restoration that enhances the soul of the place. Completing our family are Gigante dei Cesari, our large-hearted Caucasian shepherd, and Wistiooka, a beautiful KWPN mare. They are part of our world and help make the stay even more authentic and engaging for those who love animals and the outdoors.

Our farmhouse is situated in the serene pre-hilly area that leads to Lake Maggiore, surrounded by a captivating and diverse natural landscape. We are just a few minutes from Arona, a charming town overlooking the lake, and less than half an hour from the picturesque Lake Orta, famous for its romantic views and San Giulio Island. In about an hour, you can reach the Ossola Valleys, Val Sesia, and the hills of Monferrato, while Milan, Turin, and Malpensa Airport are easily accessible for day trips or convenient arrivals.

Just a few hundred meters from our home lies the Faunistic Park La Torbiera, perfect for a visit among nature and wildlife. A little further on, the Bosco Solivo Reserve can be reached via a pleasant walk, offering shady and quiet trails ideal for hiking or cycling. The forests surrounding the farmhouse invite leisurely explorations of nature, with the opportunity to experience horseback riding thanks to the nearby equestrian center. Here, certified instructors conduct lessons for adults and children, introductory courses, and delightful horseback rides through the woods or natural parks such as Lagoni.

Golf enthusiasts can find two prestigious golf clubs just a few kilometers away: Castelconturbia, set in an elegant and well-maintained landscape, and Golf Bogogno, surrounded by lush scenery and high-quality amenities. For those who prefer shopping, the outlets in Vicolungo and Serravalle Scrivia offer a wide selection of designer brands at affordable prices, perfect for a stylish day out.

The location of the farmhouse, tranquil yet perfectly connected, allows for a blend of relaxation, nature, sports, and culture, giving you the freedom to choose a different experience each day among lakes, forests, historic villages, vineyards, and art cities.
