The Bed and Breakfast Nicole is located in Ponti, a peaceful village in the Monferrato Alessandrino region, overlooking the Bormida River. This area retains the charm of traditional Piedmont. The property is situated in a prime spot at the top of a hill, accessible via a private road, surrounded by the tranquility of a landscape marked by vineyards and woodlands. It's an ideal place for those looking to rejuvenate in nature, enveloped in an authentic and relaxing atmosphere.

Ponti is rich in history and culture, featuring the Old Church and its distinctive bell tower that dominate the skyline. Nearby, the famous Big Benches add color to the hills, providing spectacular viewpoints and fun photo opportunities in Monastero Bormida, Cassinasco, Sessame, Bistagno, Canelli, Montabone, Acqui Terme, and Strevi.

Just a few kilometers away lies Acqui Terme, renowned for its thermal waters and the enchanting “Bollente,” a hot spring located in the town's center. The local thermal baths are famous for the therapeutic properties of their salsobromoiodic waters, ideal for wellness and the treatment of various ailments.

Heading towards the hills, Roccaverano offers a journey through flavors and culture. Here, visitors can taste Robiola DOP cheese right at its production sites and explore the Art Park, the castle, and the tower that tell the story of this ancient village.

This region is also the birthplace of renowned Piedmontese sparkling wines. Asti, about 45 kilometers away, captivates with its winemaking tradition and the Palio, a horse race that annually reenacts ancient medieval challenges. Among the city’s highlights are the Alfieri Palace, the Cathedral, and the Paleontological Museum. Not far away, Canelli, another capital of sparkling wine, is home to historic underground cellars, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

For those wanting to venture further, Alba and the Langhe region offer breathtaking landscapes, picturesque villages, and a culinary tradition famous worldwide. This land, along with Roero and Monferrato, is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site for its extraordinary beauty and deep connection to wine culture.

The strategic location of the B&B also makes it easy to reach the Ligurian coast. Savona, with its port, beaches, and the historic Priamar Fortress, is just 55 kilometers away. To complement the local offerings, the Serravalle Designer Outlet, one of the largest in Europe, is accessible in under an hour for a day of shopping among top fashion brands.
